@MikeDiSalvo: Yes the whole pivot team (Eddie, Matt W) loves dual slalom. They've raced a lot of the crankworx events.

The idea is to have his main riding gears be in the middle of the cassette where the chain line is best. You will rarely use the 10t cog but that's not the point.

I think you're missing the point here... Ben clearly wants people to try this challenge too. If you can do it that easy, go out and do it instead of commenting on his personal achievement saying you could do it better. I'm sure he'd love to add you to the "doers" page on the website.
