Transition Spur
$1750 USD2022 Transition Spur set up as a trail bike for jump and berm trails. Pike fork set to 120 (I think select plus or the one below ultimate). SID shock that came stock with the frame. Suspension is good and has been serviced. Decals have been removed though. I9 hubs and rims. 5 dev 155 cranks. Schwalbe albert radial tires with lots of life. XTR mech shifting and XT brakes (2 piston front, single rear). 60m rise bar with S and M Hoder BMX grips. Rasta accents! Custom Israel Vibrations mud guard!
I've ridden this bike a lot and it has plenty of paint scuffs, but no cracks or major damage. Its ready to rip. I can ship it via bike flights if the buyer wants to pay for shipping.

How To Take Your Kids Mountain Biking Without Ruining the Fun
How about teaching your kid to ride a bike and then letting them decide if they want to ride mountain bikes. Maybe they don't want to and that's fine. My parents wanted/forced me to play baseball and football, and I absolutely hated it and that's why I became passionate about surfing and riding MTB - to become my own person. Introducing sports is fine (maybe the kids like it), but spending a bunch of money and time because, deep down, you want to make your kid like what you like is something that can lead to trauma down the line.

Santa Cruz 5010
$1750 USD2023 CC frame with parts from a 2024 C R. For a parts list look up the 2024 5010 CR. I rode this frame for a year and got a new one but swapped the parts. The parts are basically new albeit entry level. The frame has red decals on it that can be easily removed. No frame damage and minimal paint wear.

I enjoy both ebikes and regular bikes, but ebikes remind me of the transition from flip phones to smart phones, and our current social questioning of technological convinence. I also enjoy the fun of endlessly scrolling TikTok at any time, but wonder if reading a paperback book might be better long term.
