Interview: Casey Brown
You guys are not very well informed, it was not the UCI who wished to reduce the number of points available to women at World Cups. It was an idea put forward to the UCI management committee by IMTTO lead by Trek World Racing manager Martin Whitely. The UCI then refused 100% to pass Whitely's motion and the idea has been scraped. So before all you guys go getting on the anti-UCI band wagon do some research and educate yourselfs.

2013 UCI World Enduro Series Cancelled?
Sorry to come across gutless, but I felt quite passionate about this topic so I decided to make myself an account. Anonymity is a privilege of the internet. Anyway on to other things. In regards the comment about pro sport needing a world series of some sort, well that's the truth, in terms of racing sports, A to B fastest type sports, not Broboarding or cliff hucking. Although most of those types of non racing sports still have some sort of organised elite of the elite competition series. As for a reply to the poster of the article Matt Wragg. My comment was written in haste so I did make it seem as I was guessing the UCI's reasoning behind this decision ( although that is a speculative decision for now). I also think it's wrong for you to leave the Title of this story as it is as you make it out as if there was some sort of existing UCI enduro series that has now been cancelled. Which there hasn't and it seems that alot of the less learned or educated youngsters here on Pinkbike seem to now think that the UCI have cancelled Enduro as a sport completely. I reaffirm my point that you are trying to make a storm in a tea-cup instead of providing balanced journalism. I also reaffirm my point that peoples prejudice against the UCI no matter what the issue is childish and stupid, they make some good decisions and more often then not make some bad ones. In this case I think they are waiting to see how Enduro grows and develops before they formally get involved. That's my opinion at least and to think there is something sinister involved on behalf of the UCI is foolish.

2013 UCI World Enduro Series Cancelled?
Well yet again more shoddy journalism from mountain bike websites. A few things need to be made clear. At no stage have the UCI comitted to creating their own Enduro series. They invited organisers to come forward with proposals to them on how in some way all the different formats of the series could be unified or more normalised and then maybe look at going forward to creating an "elite" World Cup series. something which every pro sport needs. Why everyone is getting their knickers in a knot over this is beyond me. The UCI have clearly seen that at this stage they would not be able to offer a unified Enduro series with some sort of clarity, consistency and professionalism in format and organisation. So rightly and logically they have decided to not go ahead with what would be and un-professional series. What the hell is wrong with that? They may for once have the best interest of the sport at heart. Look beyond your unjustified hate for the UCI and make yourself an educated decision for once people. As for "Matt Wragg" the poster of this article. You should A. change the mis leading title and B. Maybe add some educated, intelligent editorial to the article. Instead of just trying to brew up a storm in a tea-cup
