And how about a scoring system like gymnastics? Don't they get a difficulty rating in advance?
The riders submit their lines and tricks in advance to the jury and they put a theoretical score on it. Then the riders know in advance the ballpark of score they can aim for depending on the quality of the actual run.
Eliminates the surprises like this one afterwards...

Fox Racing Announces New Union Boa Flat Shoe
Boa offers a life-time warranty. Just received replacement dials + strings for my 4 year old DMT road shoes. It has a clear instruction booklet with the replacement package, but haven't found time yet to get to it.
Doesn't seem too complicated though

In her case the cardio didn't seem to be the problem. I have a sensitive stomach too, and part of my training exercise for long days out is digesting during efforts. You have to get used to that too.
And important to stick to the familiar things you've trained during race day too. Always a bad moment to try new stuff at the important moments...
