by Lama Cycles
100% freestyler Austin Davignon checks in with his 2014 NS Bikes Majesty! Being pretty busy building this year's Red Bull Joyride course, we got some great pictures from Andy Vathis at the Mud Rocker contest in Montreal two weeks ago. Really glad we got the chance to finally meet him and Alexander Chisholme. True riders, trail diggers and partymasters. Ride hard, party even harder!

Why do you ride that particular frame?
I ride this frame because it looks good, feels good and can handle everything i throw at it.

Your impressions on your new ride?
The new frame is awesome. Super fun in the dirt jumps and still quick and nimble on the concrete.

Concerned about your bike weight? You know how much it weighs?
Nah, its lighter than the average bike so i don't sweat over it. I think it weighs about the same as a large bundle of bananas.

We all know Canada doesn’t see the best weather this time of year... How have you been passing the winter months? Where have you been getting most of your sessions in?
This winter i've been working at Cypress mountain (Vancouver) full time snowmaking and grooming. I spent most of my time snowboarding, trying to take it easy to save myself for the summer. When it wasnt raining i would ride the seylynn bowl near my house.

What are your plans once the weather warms up? Any trips you’re trying to make happen?
Now that its summer again i'm back in whistler full time but we plan to go to Retallack with Joyride for a few weeks to work on a cool project. That and i plan to go to vegas end of June to party at EDC. Would love to hit up the Coastal Crews new bike park on the sunshine coast.

How can people keep up with you these days?

Do you have any shout outs or thanks?
Big shout out to Paddy Kaye from Joyride for keeping me employed during the summers.
