A beautiful example of a iconic downhill bike from possibly what I consider the golden years of mountain biking. This is a really regretful sale but with such little use I can't justify it collecting dust in my garage. I want to go to some who can really appreciate it but also ride it too. Whistler's Park bike of the year for 2007! This Kona is dressed to kill in mostly New Old Stock factory parts with some tastful modern upgrades. I purchased this as a frame set from another Pinkbike forum member back in 2017 and proceed to purchase parts over the next 6 months to build it up, spending approximately $5000 NZD ( over $4000 CAD! ) From there it was only ridden a handful of times by me, Christchurch Adventure Park ( my local ) and once visiting Rotorua Redwoods & Skyline, Arapuke (K-Loop) Palmerston North. The condition can be described as excellent for the age. With only a few light scratches to the top tube and some chain rash on the rear triangle. The worst being on the fork lowers ( cosmetic only ). Very cool retro Marzocchi mud guard / fender made in 2002. Will fit many Marzocchi forks from that era through till 2005, 888, 66, Z1, possibly drop off, super t, junior t etc. Mounts underneath the crown with two bolts. It is missing one of the brass washer inserts but this wouldn't be any trouble for a machine shop to whip up a new one for you. Has some light scuffing and one small scratch to the sticker, the rest of the stickers are like new. Very good condition considering this is 19 years old! PRICE IS IN NZD.
