Pinkbike's Tech Editors Pick Their Ideal MTB Geometry Numbers (2026 Edition)
This article only 'confirms' that the latest bikes perform the best. Progress! Only Dario seems to be a bit ahead of the current bikes. But would another step in geometry be even better? Probably so! That would make an interesting article (re-introducee the Grim Donut!). But I'm also pretty sure that big brands are not really interested at the moment. Too much progression... .

XC Tech Randoms II: 2026 South Korea XC World Cup
@Muscovir: Rolling resistance. The width of a mtb tire doesn't make up for the difference in the actual rolling resistance.

Spotted: Hope 6-Piston Brake Calipers on Tuhoto-Ariki Pene's Zerode - 2026 South Korea DH World Cup
@Jessie-MayM: it is worth to us customers! We need to spend money. In this case they just have to name a price. Even €1.500 is reasonable these days!!

DH Tech Randoms: 2026 South Korea World Cup
@Jessie-MayM: it makes sense that Hattie is still using the same frame size. She is sitting/standing more upright now and the reversed stem compensates for the reach being too much in that case!

Newmen Components Says Super Boost Hubs Could Be "Essential" For 32-Inch Wheels
Manitou already introduced the 120 mm front hub in the 90's. Because it made sense back then already... Be-One did a 160 mm rear hub with the flanges right in the middle: even spoke tension and stronger, stiffer wheel. Also in the 90's. They didn't invent 32". That just didn't make sense.
