Who would have thought that my small comment would create such an uproar!
When scott-townes dies of a fatal blow to the head from not wearing a helmet, I will be sure to include this thread in his obituary.

Calm it down. It doesn't matter how good you think your riding is, or the fact that you may be a sponsored rider; accidents happen to everyone. There have been many injuries to date due to athletes not wearing appropriate protection (some hit close to home for me) and I think that wearing a helmet is a small step that could have saved many lives lost to extreme sports.

This guy is an amazing skiier, but considering the incident in Nelson this past week, I really wish he were wearing a helmet.
