Pinkbike Primer - Everything You Need to Know Ahead of the Paris Olympics MTB XC
Yeah, this course definitely looks weak compared to what they've been racing the last few years. I'm kinda shocked they didn't make it more technical. This looks like a track built for the high school race teams, not a track for Olympians.

Jolanda Neff Will Not Be Racing the Paris Olympics
What a class act. To give up your olympic spot to someone else is incredible. Hopefully she can still be competitive with her new breathing techniques. I'd imagine it will take a while to get that all dialed to where she'd be back at her previous level.

Video: Are Racers Not Fit Enough? | Leogang Story of The Race With Ben Cathro
Don't know if that was a strategy that Finn wanted to try out, or if that's just how it all went down. But I do remember some of the racers talking about how much extra racing they're doing now at each event, and how tiring it is. I swear Minaar and Loic were two of the racers that might have mentioned it a while back.

Review: The New Marin Alpine Trail is More Adjustable & Capable Than Ever
I had a Marin Rift Zone 29er for three years. It was a nice bike. I put a coilover on it and rode it pretty hard. Lots of XC and some downhill shuttle days. I never had an issue with my bike. I'd definitely consider another Marin in the future if I can find one locally. But I think the shop that I bought mine from ended up carrying different brands now.

Video: WynTV Track Walk - Fort William DH World Cup 2024
People were looking at me kinda weird because I have 50mm rise bars on three of my bikes. I'm 6'1 and ride XL sized bikes and I was tired of having my bars the same heights as medium sized bikes. I wonder if the proportion on his bike makes it similar to the proportions on Jackson's bike? Jackson looks like he's basically almost standing up straight when he's riding. Could be a new body position that benefits a lot of people.

Amer Sports Sells ENVE to Utah-Based Private Investment Firm
I had to think about it since I'm a Utah native and ride in the general area that's close to the ENVE headquarters. Compared to about 8 years ago, no, there's hardly any ENVE wheel sets on local bikes now. 8 years or so ago, you couldn't go on rides without seeing their wheels EVERYWHERE locally. They were like the 'cool kid' setup. I seriously can't remember the last time I saw some.
