@nickfranko: If by "no one" you mean "more people than you can imagine" then yup, no one will buy it! 15k makes bikes a cheap hobby compared to say... yacht racing or even just sports cars, and the popularity of mtbs these days means there are a LOT of folks who simply buy the most expensive thing available for status, because they can, because it's the best, or whatever reason compiles them. Bottom line though - yes they're going to sell like hot cakes.

First Look: 2023 Specialized Epic World Cup
@KingPooPing: Right, it will be raced by elite riders on technical WC tracks. I wager elite riders are far more skilled than you and I and don't mind technical descents with high seat posts. This bike isn't for me or the races I do, but then again if I wanted to race something like Leadville and I could have my "weapon of choice," this would be high on the list. I'm sure you'll be seeing it with a wireless dropper on some tracks.

@baca262: Obviously this isn't your endurobro bike, it's a poppy playful jib machine reminiscent of a SC 5010 - very fast if you can float instead of plow.

First Look: 2023 Specialized Epic World Cup
Elite racers or anyone on an XC track that isn't very technical, which outside of WC is most of them... $100 bucks says I see this bike at a NICA race before the end of the spring season. Lotta folks have a lotta cash.
