Pinkbike Poll: Mountain Biking - What Should it Cost?
No matter what anybody says. I am 66 years old and mountain bike several times a week. In my life I have watched Greed Rule. Everybody has the right answer in there own mind and point fingers at everything but our own fees which we think are right. This sport will fail if the cost are not brought back to reality.

Opinion: Mountain Bike Movies - Are You Still Stoked?
I Started mountain biking at the age of 55 and I have done very well. The greed of the bike companies has taken the price of bikes out of the real world. No matter what anybody has to say, we are blind to the fact that no body in the real worl can afford these bikes anymore. Say what you want about my age, but I can hold my own at Snow Mountain West Virginia and am proud of it. Remember We all get older, it's how we except all of those around us.

Why all the complaining. Life is what it is. Don't cry about Apple or Pinbike. We have more serious issues we should bitch about like why are the outta in bike prices so high? Talk about Greed. Really

Opinion - It Should Be Hard, Shouldn't it?
Maybe it is my old age. I learned to mountain bike at age of 55 and now I am 65. Most training was at Snow Shoe Mountain. Thanks to a lot of help from the younger riders that didn't discriminate because of age and instead stuck with me year in an year out to get better so as to do the advance trails. My take on all of this is that the sport has gotten to elitist and the discrimination in thinking is no different then 45 years ago when I as a young boy would get into new adventures that most people were afraid to do. We need to just get along and make it all work for the future of the sport to Grow. PS: the pricing of the bikes has gotten way out of hand.

its sad that when you voice your opinion on facts not dreams you get hammered I respect what everybody has to say. Started mtn biking at the age of 55, and now at the age of 66, i still go to Snow Show Mountain and ride the Western Frontier and must say I go faster then most people half my age Mountain biking can be enjoyed by people of all ages and sex if we only try to respect one an other. What got me were I am at is hard work and the help of bikers a 3rd my age. Just wish I could afford a new expensive bike. Bless you All

Why is the bike industry making bikes that cost so much and only a small portion of the people can afford them? Like everything else that is destroying us - Greed people that don't agree live in a fantasy world
