Jul 1, 2026Merida 160 8000 - Brand New Frame - Size Mid - Mullet
$2200 GBPThis is a brand new and unridden Merida 160 8000 full carbon frame.
Mullet set up with 29 front and 27.5 rear wheel.
It is a dark, metallic green and it looks so good, especially in the sun - Hopefully the photos show how nice this bike is!
Size Mid - I am 177cm or just under 5'10" and it is perfect for me, so ideal for anyone a couple of inches either side of 5'10".
The parts are from my 2024 Merida 160 6000 which I had to warranty for a rock strike which wrote the old frame off. That is why we have a brand new, never ridden frame with the old parts.
The new bike was built up professionally by Bad Ass Bikes in Bristol.
The forks have not been ridden since a full lower service and bushing resize. They are smooth!
Rear shock has very low miles as I was running a coil shock all year and only put this back on to sell.
Brand new headset.
New BB bearings.
New gear and dropper cables.
Parts:
Rock Shox Zeb Select Fork - 170mm
Rock Shox Super Deluxe Select+ Shock
Shimano SLX brakes and gears. Note some missing paint on brake levers.
Race Face Cranks - Note scratches.
DT Swiss 1900 rear wheel
Merida front wheel on Shimano hub
Maxxis Assegai, DHRII tyres in Double Down with loads of life in them.
Bristol based - can meet in FOD, S Wales, Bristol or SW
Cash preferred - no swaps
This bike is mint and ready to ride or race - just see the group tests and reviews for the Merida 160.

Video: Why You Struggle To Recover After 50
@HappyBiker19: The fitter you are, the more of the ride will be aerobic for a given pace. For instance, with my enduro racers, I want them to be as efficient and as aerobic as possible on transitions to preserve energy and carbs for the stages.
Less fit enduro racers hit higher heart rates on the transitions, meaning they are less aerobic and more anaerobic. Therefore they are more fatigued for the stages and they use more stored carbs on the climbs.

Video: Why You Struggle To Recover After 50
A normal ride is more like a sliding scale in terms of how aerobic it is. So, at low intensities you may be 100% aerobic, but as intensity increases - for instance a steep fire road climb - you will start to produce energy anaerobically as well. Together they produce enough energy to propel you up the hill.

May 4, 2026Merida 160 6000 Enduro Bike. Mullet. Size Mid
$1500 GBPMerida 160 6000. These bikes are so good and have won a load of group tests and awards. If you want an affordable bike that you can race enduro on, ride at the bike park or just do local laps on, then this is a great option.
2023 model. Purple.
Mid Size - 170mm reach. I am 177cm or just under 5'10 and it's perfect for me.
Rock Shox Zeb with Charger damper. 170mm travel and fresh service including bushing re-sizing.
This bike is set up mullet, so it has 170mm rear wheel travel from Super Deluxe shock. This shock is basically new as I have been running a coil all year and only fitted this shock to sell.
Shimano SLX drivetrain with Race Face cranks.
Shimano SLX brakes.
Original Merida front wheel on Shimano hub. Rear wheel is DT Swiss. Both set up tubeless.
Maxxis Double Down tyres. Assegai and Minion DHRII. Slight wear but loads of life in them.
Paint..... the bike is totally solid in terms of bearings and frame etc, but the paint is a bit scratched up from riding, uplifts and plenty of use. Too many little scratches and scuffs to list or photo. The main one to be aware of is a large paint chip down to the carbon just above the drive side drop out, as seen in the photo.
Finally, I can prove I am the owner and it is not stolen or anything.
Based in Bristol, can arrange a sale in this area or FOD, S Wales or maybe somewhere else.
Cash only. No trades.
Thanks.

Mar 11, 2026RockShox Flight Attendant System. Fork-Shock-Cranks
$850 GBPFull Rock Shox Flight Attendant suspension system for an enduro bike.
Rock Shox Zeb Ultimate with 170mm travel for 29" wheels.
Steerer cut to 149mm. Just serviced and new damper on warranty. Slight scratches on crown as shown in photo.
Super Deluxe Ultimate shock. 230x65mm Trunnion Mount.
SRAM XO1 Carbon 170mm crankset also included as this houses the pedal sensor that talks to the system.
Fitted with a 32 t chainring. Rubber crank boots also fitted.
Sram BB DUB BSA 73 bottom bracket also included, but I haven't taken it off yet.
AXS Charger included.
As you will know, this all works as a single system so can't be split up. I believe you can put the pedal sensor into another set of SRAM DUB cranks though if you prefer.
