Taz-Mania: EWS Round 2 - Practice
@weebleswobbles: the comment was about the picture, not the line. Picture = pretty Line = not so much (in your opinion).

Spotted: Radon's Revised Slide 160 Carbon
As long as it doesn't show up on the credit card bill, that's all I care about.

Updated: Fox Recalls Certain Float X2 Shocks
Considering this shock has been on sale since around early to mid 2015 - well in Australia anyway, we tend to be a few (hundred) years behind the rest of the planet - this would seem like a huge number of items to be replaced (assuming that they all need to be changed). If so, I wonder how long Fox expect people to be unable to use their bikes for, and if the max PSI does become 250, what they will do for those that need to run higher pressures. Whereas my pressures should be ok (just), I can't swap to a coil easily.

Updated: Fox Recalls Certain Float X2 Shocks
earlier this year I was sitting around 130kg (without gear on). I was running 280 on my HD3. I threw in the max number of volume reduction bands and now run around 245 and it feels great. I've also lost 5kg which has helped also.

Outdoor Demo Randoms - Interbike 2016
I struggle to see the need to fork out an arm and a leg for the current crop of riding shirts when a UA Heatgear top will work just as well if not better for about 1/3 of the cost (well in Australia anyway). Plus you can wear them out to to pub after without losing point like a technicolour tw@t.

Bikes of the Best - Val di Sole DH World Champs 2016
With the exception of perhaps the winners, the riders should auction off their bikes with money going to a charity nominated by the winner. Or for this time, a charity under Chainsaw's name. Then I can re-mortgage the house and get my paws on Minnaar's carbonite wonder!!

SRAM Acquires ShockWiz Suspension Tuning Tool - Crankworx Whistler 2016
I wonder how this might affect SRAM's sale of new season products. Let's say I buy this and use it to tune my RS fork and suddenly Wham! The fork is head and shoulders above all of my previous other suspension products. Whereas I might have been inclined to turn over the fork after a couple of years, could I be so happy with the tuning improved version that I'm more inclined to stick with the fork for a number of years until it's truly shagged out? A friend has a 10 year old Avalanche tuned coil for his Heckler and says that despite trying other newer shocks he's so happy with how the shock feels, he can't justify spending the money for a new unit. I like my new toys as much the next MTBer but I also see the value in getting something that's well suited / bespoke and making that work for you.
