Orange Clockwork 129 Frame

$220 GBP
Hi all, For sale is my 2018/19 Orange Clockwork 129 frame in size medium. I'm 5"7 and it's just right, any smaller and I think you'd struggle. Spec: Fully working, good condition with minor aesthetic marks expected from a well used bike. Rear axle is 148mm boost spacing with the headtube setup to take a tapered fork. The frame is designed for a 120mm fork (which I ran and is perfect imo) but the 'newer' evo models run 130mm so I should think this wouldn't be a problem if that was your jam. Included with the frame will be the headset, bottom bracket (raceface), seat clamp (strange), chain slap guard (orange), thru axle and the internal cable routing for the dropper (you're welcome!). This truly is a superb bike once built up and is more than adequate for pretty much all UK riding, I'll be devastated to see it go, which brings me onto... Reason for sale: Honestly I don't want to sell this frame. Unfortunately my wife is divorcing me so I'm rather in need of money! That's all there is to it. Logistics: Happy to meet or drive a short way to deliver. I can post but I'd ask you organise the courier as I've have bad experiences in the past. More than happy to box it up though etc. I'm currently in Billingham and work at Boulby if that's any use to you. I work Tue-Fri and have childcare Sun-Mon, So Saturdays or afterwork would be ideal for collection/meet ups. Think that's everything. Shout if you have any questions and thanks for looking. Chris.

Bike Check: Christina Chappetta's Trek Top Fuel
Looking at getting myself a similar rig in the hopefully not too distant future (downvote me all you like folks!), the obvious choice being the Transition Spur. That being said, can't see myself ever having the cash for one... anyone got any experience/recommendations for similar alternative frames, preferably cheaper?

Whyte G150, Medium

$700 GBP
Hi all, Reluctantly, for sale is my 2014 Whyte G150 in size medium. I'm the second owner of this bike, the first owner being a good friend of mine who bought it new from Bike Scene Guisborough (it's been taken there for servicing so I suspect they'll recognise it). The bike is very well used so expect many scratches etc. but the frame is solid and works fine (plus the bearings are guaranteed for life and Bike Scene honoured this a while back so bearings are running sweet as). A few quick highlights: - 160mm coil sprung Marzocchi fork with lockout and rebound adjustment - 150mm rear travel delivered by RockShox debonair shock with open, climb and lockout settings - 180mm anodised orange rotors front and rear paired to SRAM Guide RS 4 pot brakes - 1x10 clutch drivetrain, mix of SRAM GX/X9 and Shimano 11-42 cassette, 30 tooth oval chain ring up front - Almost new 125mm Ascend dropper post with trigger style lever - 2.5" Convict high grip front, 2.4" Trail Boss fast rolling rear, both tubeless with Peaty valves - Straitline orange ano pedals As stated this is a very well used bike and so there are some not so great points I'll list for full transparency: - The clamp for the X9 shifter is 3D printed; I can print a couple of spares but worth mentioning - There is a slow leak on the rear wheel, I suspect it's the tubeless tape as it hasn't been changed in a while. It holds air for about a week so it's not bothered me - The preload dial on the fork doesn't work; it suits me as a light rider but heavier riders may find it too soft a spring. There are also some marks on the right stanchion but this isn't too much a problem as it's a coil fork. - One of the rims has a piece of nipple in it from a spoke swap which I can't for the life of me get out. Has no impact on performance - The integrated seat clamp broke some time ago; it's replaced with a Santa Cruz quick release clamp which works fine. Overall this is a super capable bike and despite being a 2014 model isn't too far off modern trail bike geometry. I had a 2017 Whyte T130 (check my sold items as proof) and can say with confidence this rides just as well as that did (in fact I sold the T130 as I thought this was better!!) Only selling as I've had a few unexpected expenses and need the money, otherwise I'd happily keep it. Not willing to ship this unfortunately but I will drive a short way to meet if that's helpful, otherwise collection from Ingleby Barwick please. Any questions, let me know. I'm looking for offers near £700 taking into account the condition. I think that's a fair price for a 160mm enduro rig these days! Thanks for looking. Chris
