@southshorepirate: I wouldn' t buy this as I have no real need, but I was being a little bit facetious in my math. I was hoping that would be clear....
anywho, If my hobby was woodworking(and not MTB, enduro moto, skiing, snowmobiling, homebrewing, etc), and I needed one of these, then yes, I would build one in my free time. but since it isn't, I would always default to just buying one, as the $749 is far less valuable to me than a day doing any of my actual hobbies.

@sanchofula: dead wrong my guy. want me to prove it? next time you go to drop in on the steepest thing you ride, take the seat and seatpost OFF THE BIKE ENTIRELY. Then report back on how that went.
the saddle is an integral part of your ability to manuever the bike, whether you realize it or not. When it drops so low its be low your knees, you lose your abilty to manipulate the bike with the saddle.

@jeremy3220: you are completely discounting the distance the steering moment is away from the actual steering axis. it matters. A LOT. It may not affect bike fit statically, but it has a huge impact on the riding characteristics of the bike.

@EchoShotz: most modern bikes are built around 30-35mm stems. buy the 450 and add 5mm to the stem. you won't notice it or the 5mm shorter reach.

@bigbrett: I sell them. S4 you should be no shorter than 6"2, likely 6'3" or taller unless you have a crazy long torso and arms.

@Riversoley: my bike came with a 240mm dropper. I swapped to a 225 because the seat was TOO LOW when dropped.

@jeremy3220: ....which is DIRECTLY related to stem length(as well as bar shape).
I never said its all that matters,but it matters a lot.
if you put the same bars on a 0mm stem and the 150mm stem, the stem makes significantly more difference than the bar sweep or rise.
