First Ride: Fox's Fully Redesigned X2 & DHX2 Shocks
@TommyNunchuck: man, same. I had a 2020 DHX2 blow up and go in for warranty three times. On the third time Fox told me they’d have to charge me next time because it must be the design of my frame (YT Jeffsy). Like you I went with Ohlins instead and have had zero issues. On my next bike I went straight with Ohlins and have had zero issues on that one too (so far).

Oct 24, 2024YT Jeffsy Core 4, 29”, Large
$3000 USDSelling my 2021 YT Jeffsy Core 4, size Large. This is a great bike, I just got a different bike that I like even more. There is some paint damage which you can see in the photos. The carbon fiber is completely fine, this was from a slow speed fall where I lost balance climbing up some chunky granite and had some unfortunate contact with said granite. Otherwise, there are a few minor rock chips.
The listed price includes everything as shown, except I will swap the original YT saddle back on and keep the ergon saddle. The price is negotiable by removing some upgrades and including only the stock parts such as wheelset, dropper post, rear shock.
Upgrades are:
- Industry 9 hydra wheelset with Enduro 305 v3 aluminum rims. (A couple extra spokes are included).
- SRAM AXS Wireless XO drivetrain
- SRAM GX 165mm crank set, 32T chainring
- SRAM Code RSC brakes w/220mm HS2 rotors
- Rockshox AXS wireless reverb dropper post
- Ohlins coil shock
- MRP ramp control installed in the Fox fork
- Custom 3D printed chainstay protector
Stock parts and extras included:
- DT Swiss XM1700 wheelset
- Truvativ Descendant Carbon cranks, 175mm, 32T chainring
- YT postman dropper post and lever
- Fox DPX2 rear air shock
- New 32T Eagle chainring
- New XX1 Eagle chain

SRAM Files Patent for Wireless Seatpost With Collar-Mounted Electronics
@fedfox: yep sure enough! Just saw a YouTube video where he talks about that: https://youtu.be/1yAAmK-M9ZQ?si=nwSnDvxwtyylK7B6
At about the 4:50 mark he mentions flipping it around.

SRAM Files Patent for Wireless Seatpost With Collar-Mounted Electronics
Agreed. I really like the seat clamp mechanism on the current reverb AXS. I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it yet, but why doesn’t SRAM just reconfigure the top of the current post so the battery is in front?
The angle adjust bolt could be relocated to the rear, or even leave it in front and make it accessible with the battery removed. Seems like a simpler solution than moving the battery to the collar.

Opinion: What Are You Too Picky About?
@jwellford: So looking at the picture of Levy's derailleur on the bench, it is the bottom parallelogram pivot closest to the bench, just next to the limit screws. The pivot is a female threaded shaft with a bushing for the pivot, so nothing is securing it like the other three. I used an M3-.5x6 screw (.5 thread pitch, 6mm long).
