A Walk Down Memory Lane as Nukeproof Looks at the Modern History of Their Custom Bikes
@pimpin-gimp: We've a full design ready to go, but I still want to do it one day, so will hide that for the right time. It's pretty weird.

"Green 'n Gold" was destined to be a very very different design (not very green or very gold), but very Sam.

Nukeproof Releases a Limited Short Travel, Lightweight Edition of the Reactor
@thegoodflow: Honest answer is I can't answer that question. When it arrived we didn't weigh it as a frame only, we got too excited and built it up to try out as soon as it landed (we only had one sample of this)- hence I can only say it weighs 28lbs as it stands now! It's designed as Shorter travel and a little lighter than the "normal Reactor" rather than true XC weight - It's still a Reactor so a mini trail weapon, we know people are still going to want to shred normal trails on it (when we are allowed to again)! sorry, I know it's not ideal!

@Richt2000: It's the same layup, just minus the paint (but still lacquered) so a tad lighter. W

Nukeproof Releases a Limited Short Travel, Lightweight Edition of the Reactor
@ninjatarian: "limited Edition Models" are not designed to "sell fast" but we like to trial a few things out (if they sell then maybe there is a gap in our range or maybe if it doesn't then we can shelve the concept? But we're a small company and don't like taking a blind punt on things). Also, in a "mass market & generic world" it's nice to be able to make some riders feel a little bit special. With reference supply (we can't talk for CRC); but for us, with the global health situation, for sure supply chains have and continue to been disrupted. We apologise to customers who are waiting on or wanting products, but we fully support any slow down, as our factories, logistics, warehousing & dealers have to be allowed to adapt to ensure that all employees are allowed a "safe as possible" working environment with self isolation and social distancing (Huge thanks to all the staff). Fingers crossed, we can get back to a "new normal" soon enough, but untill then stay safe and can't wait to see you all on the trails again. ...remember it's Limited edition too so be quick, whilst stocks last and all that... (i'm joking)! Cheers, Rob

We do sell frame only Reactor's 290c, but this is a limited edition complete model, so no frame only option in this colour.
