Comment: Fork Alignment & Friction in the Fox Podium Fork
@poozank: that's on us. They've been asking, and we just were not able to supply them with a fork until recently due to customer demand.

First Look: Push Launches New VT/X Shock & Drops Prices
@Dougal-SC: With our ELVENSIX, we do alter the HBO piston position with stroke change. With our SV EIGHT and VT/X shocks, we max the HBO piston position (18%) for full stroke shocks, which still gives you 12% if you reduce the stroke to the full 5mm. The majority of modern bikes use the full stroke, so this was an acceptable compromise. It's not useless, and is a feature that was thoroughly thought out as part of the product development to ensure the best possible product.

@chize: The E-MTB tunes have increased compression damping mostly at the lower velocity range. As for the HSR....frame progression doesn't really matter, only the spring load. The maximum load differential between the 525 and 700lb/in springs is a little over 400 lbs at maximum travel, and half that for most of the active stroke. The SV EIGHT and XT/X shocks have a rebound tune and adjustment range that limits the compromise.

We have ended production on the ACS3 kits to free up capacity to make more of our NINE ONE forks.

@ridefast-dontdie: The standard head unit may appear to fit, but at full bottom out, the shock head unit and adjusters will impact the frame damaging both the frame and the shock. We worked very closely with Forbidden on all of the CAD models to redesign a new head unit specific to their bikes. We wouldn't recommend running our standard Trunnion mount on that bike.

First Look: Push Launches New VT/X Shock & Drops Prices
The new VT/X is available in two different tunes for MTB (A and B), and two tunes for E-MTB (C and D). That being said, you can run C/D on MTB’s and A/B on E-MTB’s depending on what performance characteristic you’re looking for. These tunes are based on the same architecture as our SV EIGHT rear shock that was recently reviewed right here on Pinkbike by Kazimer. If you haven’t had a look, I would recommend searching for that one to get an idea of what he found from a tune perspective. We do have a very large database of bike and rider information that we use for building suspension. Our engineering team used that information to come up with four base tunes that, when combined with our external adjustments, cover a very broad range of bikes and riders. To help dial-in the VT/X to your riding style we provide adjustment support through our online resources and customer support team. We want you riding more and tinkering less. However, should you find yourself in a position where you are looking for a more specific performance characteristic, we do offer a custom tuning program for the VT/X. With the knowledge of your stock tune, combined with your specific feedback, we can meet any additional needs that you may have. The cost for this additional service is $170 + shipping. Lastly, there is our ELEVENSIX. If you are the rider looking for all the tools and tricks, that really is the product that you would be looking for as you already know, being an owner of one. Thank you for your business as well!

@HaggeredShins: We did have a brief period in time between the V1 and R-Series in 2020 where we were not at our best from a customer experience. We listened and adjusted. Over the last few years, we have had several options available for customers in your situation. We do apologize for those missteps back then.

Revel Bikes to Shut Down Amid Industry Challenges
Ouch. We're very much alive and kicking here in Loveland! That news article you linked was about the impact on Colorado manufacturers, not our company's health. The meeting with the Governor was to discuss the challenges that CO manufacturers are experiencing and what tools the state has available to help companies like ours navigate these challenges. We learned a lot and are now connected with some great new resources. -Darren
