Review: Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox
They dropped carbon really because they didn't have the knowledge to make reliable carbon frames and hid behind the environmental reasons. The only thing is they do not seem to have the knowledge to make reliable alloy frame either.

Knolly Bikes Enters Receivership & Evaluates Restructuring
Thought I'd add something: I owned a Podium back in 2013. Ended up cracking the chainstays. As it was the older version (the one that was made in BC), they sent it to me for free, I just paid the shipping fees (less than 100 bucks IIRC). Awesome support!

Knolly Bikes Enters Receivership & Evaluates Restructuring
So sad! My whole MTB education pretty much started at the time where the Podium was peak. Thanks Noel, hopefully things will get better eventually.

2026 Red Bull Hardline Tasmania Rider List Announced
@justanotherusername: Yes I would expect RedBull to pick up his medical bill. RB is a billion dollars company, that would be a drop in the ocean for them. They take pride in financing events like this. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it and watch Rampage livestream every year. The fact that they have been plain silent is heartbreaking. Yeti donated 10kusd which I find fair. RedBull has the opportunity to take it to the next level and I really find it disappointing they don't.

2026 Red Bull Hardline Tasmania Rider List Announced
Hey RedBull! I almost thought your company was out of business since your very loud silence following Adolf's crash. Hear me out: IT'S YOUR RESPONSABILITY TO TAKE CARE OF RAMPAGE RIDERS. When everything goes right, you grab the cash and it's cool. When it doesn't, you have to step up and give the riders what they need.

First Look: Specialized's S-Works Levo 4 LTD Costs More Than a New Car
That would even leave you with 2 spare cranksets as the frameset comes already equipped with a XX crankset. Not sure about the resale value of those though.

Review: Santa Cruz Vala - The VPP-Free eMTB
@lepigpen: ^This. Also, 11k$ bikes are pretty much the exact bike any top tier athlete would ride (prototype testing and custom suspension settings put aside). Want to ride the same moto than MX1 pilots? 11k$ wouldn't even buy the rear shock.
