Custom Intense M16 Carbon
$3500 CADCustom 2018 Intense M16 carbon DH bike. Top tier frame-up build with lots of great parts including:
- Shimano Saint drive train
- RaceFace Atlas cranks
- Custom built wheels with Hope Hubs and Chromag BA30 rims
- Chromag Lynx DT saddle, BZA DM stem, and OSX 35 bars
- Magura MT7 brakes
- Fox DHX2 shock with upgraded SLS coil spring
- Push tuned Fox 40 fork
Bike has been ridden but always well-maintained and is ready to go. Frame has a few superficial rub marks but overall everything is in great shape. It's a killer whip that looks great and rides amazing.
Prefer local sale but will ship at buyer's expense. No trades, will listen to reasonable offers but please don't waste your time with low balls - this is a killer rig and I'm not in a hurry to sell but I don't race DH much anymore and could use the extra space in the garage.

Thomas Vanderham Parts Ways With Rocky Mountain After 25 Years
Tough news, TV is one of the good ones. Had the privilege of riding with him for a few days in Whistler several years ago and you will never meet a nicer, more talented rider. I guess this wasn't unexpected given Rocky's financial situation, but I hope he (and they) lands on his feet.

Fat bikes are great for those of us who live in places where it is winter 6 months of the year. It's a different kind of riding and the market is admittedly much smaller but it has an appeal all its own.

Review: Bontrager G5 Team Issue Tires
I've been running these on my DH bike for the better part of 5 years and love them. Honestly I only tried them at first because I was given a free pair in Whistler, but I haven't looked back since. True they can get a bit squirrely in the wet, but really what tire doesn't? They roll great, grip when I need them to, and hold up surprisingly well against hard use. IMO there is no better "bang for your buck" in the industry.
