Brian Buell...Man on a Ridge. Seems we've seen this all before, and the intent this time was actually to shoot from a bit higher-up and to incorporate the Henry Mountains in the immediate background. After a scrambling mission, it was obvious that this was the only vantage point to shoot from, unless the camera was placed on the same plane as the rider. NOT an option... so straight-into-the-sun it was... Brian packed out his run-in and i scrambled up a chute and onto the deck from where the shot was taken. I gave the 2min warning, and with the sun parked right ON the horizon, we had a single run to get it right. Another day at the office... Hanksville, UT. (sort of)
