6 Takeaways from Eurobike 2026: Chinese Innovation, eCVTs, and the Changing Bike Industry
Hate to break it to you but the MTB industry has always been driven by consumerism. If it doesn't have the sales numbers to back it up the "industry" moves on to something else...hence your 27.5" wheelsets not being readily available.

Apr 15, 2026RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate (LinearXL aircan)
$150 USDSuper Deluxe Ultimate off of a Foribdden Druid V2. This does have the 8x30 roller bearing eyelet mount so your bike MUST use an 8x30 bottom mount to use this shock. Its not like conventional mounting hardware. I'm not going to do any research for you to find out if this fits your bike. Thats on you! Definitly fits the Forbidden Druid V2 as that is what its off of!
If you got questions ask. I'll try my best to answer them

First Ride: The Santa Cruz Nomad 7 Gets Slightly Slacker and Slimmer
I’ve ridden both back to back. I definitely felt like the seat tube angle in the 7 was way better! On that 6 I felt so slack and stretched out. Geo chart doesn’t reflect that but it’s what I felt

SRAM Releases Maven B1 Brakes - Lighter Action, Similar Power
Pretty sure A1 will be phased out. B1 will be what is available to retailers/own moving forward. Yes there will be A1’s on the market for a while as they are already out there, but eventually we’ll just be B1’s in the aftermarket/own side of things. Just like all SRAM\RS products eventually the previous gen is no longer available

Ok I felt seen when you inculded a pair of Van's Sk8 Hi's in your shoe round up, but now I feel betrayed that they didn't make your list of things you loved.
There is literally nothing to not love about them. Best bike shoes ever
