Fox 36 VAN RC2

$250 GBP
Fox 36 VAN RC2 160mm travel. Immaculate condition. No scratches at all anywhere. Serviced by MOJO and lastly by TF Tuned. IS Post Mount. QR 20mm axle. Unused for past two years. Includes all 3 springs, Firm, Medium, Soft. 1 1/8th steerer cut to 190mm. Not much else to say about it really. Selling because like my VAN R's, also advertised, I kept them after getting a new frame that runs 180 forks thinking I would one day get another frame to use them on. Now I have two pairs of 36's and still no frame, so time to sell them. Price includes postage. For local buyers wanting to collect you are welcome to inspect them first.

Fox 36 VAN R 160mm

$100 GBP
Fully serviced by MOJO. Unused for the past five years. IS brake mount. Hope adapters included. New standard QR 20mm axle. Steerer 1 1/8th cut to 190mm. Medium spring. They're good forks that I kept after upgrading to 36 VAN RC2's thinking I would one day have another frame to bolt them too. Never have. Very good condition with the exception of two small paint nicks on crown and scratch to the back of one of the stanchions. See photos. MOJO assured me the scratch on the stanchion was of no detriment to the forks performance being cosmetic, not particularly deep and smooth. However, I question whether I would ever buy any fork with any kind of scratch on the stanchion hence the price and being open to reasonable offers. Hopefully there is someone out there that wants a functional 36 for a good price. For local buyers wishing to collect I'm more than happy for you to inspect the forks. Apart from the defects photographed they are immaculate. Price includes next day UK delivery.

Rock Shox Reverb 30.9 RH Lever 380mm 5" Drop

$180 GBP
As new condition. Only 8 genuine hours use in a Yeti SB66 that had problem with rear wheel hitting seat tube under full compression. Bike went back. Eventually ended up with a Liteville 601 with a 34.9 diameter seat tube. Can't shim 30.9 up to 34.9 hence the sale. Includes everything that comes with it when bought new as seen in photo. Oil, syringes, spare seals, cable guides, star key, even the zip ties and manual it came with. Price includes postage within the UK.

Greg - Drop the vid into some editing software and run it in slow mo. Fingers don't even twitch on the brakes. Rear wheel still spinning full speed. If he was on the brakes trying to lock it up and skid it round the moment it left the ground it would have decelerated. No braking was done during the scrub. It was done correctly, weighting the front wheel to unweight the rear and swing it around with a twist of the hips. That is why rear wheel came of the ground. Study the linkage. The system was at full extension before the wheel left the ground i.e. no weight on it. But like i said, if you study the normal speed shot of the rider in slow mo he doesn't even touch the brakes - fact. If anything that shot shows how ridiculously sensitive the suspension is. What you assumed happened was he drifted the rear wheel by locking it up - a skid. As for how active it is under braking go and ride it down the worst braking bumps you can find dragging the rear brake yourself before making definitive comments on someone's hard work that you can't substantiate. Keyboard warriors!

2011 Intense Tracer 2 Review
The bike that won the first two rounds of the UK Gravity DH series was a Tracer 2 with CCDB coil shock and 160 Fox 36 that weighed a little over 30lbs. Lots of pedalling involved. Similiar to what you guys call Super D.

2011 Intense Tracer 2 Review
Exceptional bike when ridden. Have to agree completely with dieharddawg24 though. Alignment issues have killed their popularity here in the UK - with most of their own dealers. That said, with the VPP2 designs their welding jigs have been redesigned and miss aligned frames are apparently becoming the exception as opposed to the rule. Still, the UK importers SS2 Large demo is so badly aligned that the driveside crank shaves metal off the seatstay under power. So definitely not eliminated. And despite that I'm buying one (SS2). After what's been 4 months searching and testing bikes for a replacement frame, despite my concern over alignment issues I still can't find one that descends and corners like a SS2 short of a full on DH bike. Now Intense are making a foray into Carbon it will be interesting to see if that material spreads across the models and the alignment issues on the carbon frames at least disappear for good.
