Video: Slides, Spills & Saves from the Les Gets DH World Cup 2024
Unless you love being buzzed, non stop by super, angry wasps, definitely one to watch on mute.

Race Analysis from the Les Gets DH World Cup 2024
No matter which way you split the times, that was sheer dominance from AP. It was one thing watching the coverage, from which (apart from people sliding out everywhere), you never really get a proper appreciation of just how steep, technical or how truly wet the track is. Then you watch his POV. He was riding a mud soaked creek/gully from top to bottom and never once lost his footing, hitting every rut to power out and missing every sketchy root the whole down. Mind blowing balance, skill and commitment. Let alone having the brain power to process the drastically altered conditions compared to practice and qualifying and then make all those line adjustments on the fly. Incredible.

[UPDATED] Elite Final Results & Overall Standings from the Les Gets DH World Cup 2024
And it's so long and thanks for the memories AP. I knew that picking you first in my Fantasy team at $150k early days you were never going to last too long! Seriously though, what a rider. Freakin incredible stuff. To not take a foot off in those conditions. And that mid-air goggle tear, OMG Bonkers

Video: How did Amaury Pierron Do That? | Story Of The Race with Ben Cathro
Apparently he rides a lot of Motorcross as part of his training and the high bars give him a similar feel.

Video: How did Amaury Pierron Do That? | Story Of The Race with Ben Cathro
Watching Pierron's POV is nuts. You really get an appreciation of just how long that track is and he barely ever slows down. You can see just how small some of the gaps he was aiming for (and hitting) were and just how stupidly fast his reaction times are. That and gees suspension is getting good these days. So smooth. On another note. WTF are they drinking 'over the dutch' there in NZ? So much talent coming through.

[UPDATED] Elite Final Results & Overall Standings from the Val di Sole DH World Cup 2024
Great to see Tahnee with the win. She's one tough lady. Also... sooo much better watching the ladies this year without Cedric's oft repeated and pretty pathetic "riding the black snake" calls

The Actual Weights of 15 World Cup DH Race Bikes
Anyone else think that if so many riders are choosing to add extra weight to their bikes then perhaps the manufacturers have gone a little too far down the light and stiff path? And yes I know that they are putting the ballast down low to assist with the centre of gravity however it seems a bit odd for them to be taping pieces of cheap metal to highly engineered carbon. Wouldn't it make more sense to weight the bottom bracket hardware instead?

5 Things We Learned From Red Bull Hardline 2024
I really get the sentiment and have no doubt it is well meant. I also have no doubt that dosing up on RB is probably one of the LEAST dangerous things Ronan could probably do. Makes me wonder. Have you seen just how friggin how fast he rides his bike past trees, over rocks and 90 ft kickers? Caffiene and Taurine are the least of his worries.

Canyon Gap Removed from 2024 Red Bull Hardline
@slayerdegnar: They would be hiring the scaffolding, would have had to get permits, pay qualified crew to build etc. Would have been a very limited window for testing.
