Review: 6 Months on SDG's New Tellis Dropper Post
Sorry you had those issues, I understand that's got to be extremely frustrating for you. Some of our production posts didn't have the actuator nut properly torqued to the actuator and cartridge, so unfortunately we had a batch that developed this play. Simple fix, but hard to have confidence in a new product especially after the same issue twice. We've since sorted the assembly so this isn't an issue, so you definitely shouldn't run into it again. Shoot us a message if you ever want to try it again and we'll send you a discount code to help out.

Did you send us a message regarding this? Obviously shouldn't have issues after 28 days, so please do message support@sdgcomponents.com and we can see if it's a setup or manufacturing issue.

Review: 6 Months on SDG's New Tellis Dropper Post
Definitely not dead! It's still alive and very well. As we were brand new to the dropper market we wanted to prove ourselves first with a railed version, but you can bet we're more than keen to bring the benefits of I-Beam to the dropper segment.

Review: 6 Months on SDG's New Tellis Dropper Post
@sam264 As we'd mentioned in the original launch, we utilized off the shelf parts for many of the internal components, because they worked quite well and allowed us to keep the cost down. We're not trying to hide that which is why we included the photo of the internals. Compared to those options you listed we offer both seat tube diameters (Bontrager/Giant are limited there), but more importantly we offer all the small parts for the post. So down the road when your warranty runs out (with any brand) you can fully service your post. Plus with all the service videos we've made live from the get go, you can do servicing yourself or any local shop can without any specialized tools you'll need to source.

Video: SDG Announces Junior Pro Kit with 'Shred in Good Company' Featuring Cam Zink, Eric Porter & Their Kids
If this was a kit utilizing cheap off the shelf bars, grips, saddle and pedals then yes that would be true. However everything in the kit is quality (nylon composite pedals w/ replaceable bottom loading pins, custom tooled 6061 bar, synthetic leather and cordura saddle, etc.) and completely custom tooled by us to be optimized for smaller riders. If you add up comparable adult products MSRP, the $149.99 MSRP is totally fair. We totally get that the kit won't be for everyone, but plenty should see the value in this kit. Especially given how important your contact points are; even more so with growing riders.

We showed a rough mock up of the kit at Sea Otter, but now officially launched. Since every part of the kit was designed and custom tooled by us, it takes a bit of time to get it to production.

MUST WATCH: RJ Ripper - Joey Schusler's New Film About Nepal’s Fastest Rider
RJ was our tail guide when we used Mandil's guiding company to check out Nepal. RJ was absolutely sending it on a horribly clapped out bike, but every time we stopped he had the biggest shit eating grin on his face with how stoked he was. The trip was unreal, but getting to share the trails with this kid having the time of his life made it even better. So stoked to see how far RJ has gone and can't wait to see what the future holds for him! Also, everyone should take at least one trip to Nepal with Mandil's guiding outfit. It's still by far my favorite riding trip I've ever been able to do. For me the quality of people, landscape and trail in Nepal can't be beat.

SDG Announces Their First Dropper Post
OneUp has always made a great product and I'm sure their dropper will be no exception. If you're looking for a longer drop post and worried about fitment theirs seems like a great choice. Our post is aimed at those that want an extremely simple post that just works with no BS. Furthermore, in the event that shit happens, we offer top tier partners all over the world with small parts already in stock. Us thinking that we're going to appeal to every customer would be a "massive fail".
