SDG Releases New Adjustable Dropper Lever
@AccidentalDishing: can you send a couple images of where it’s breaking on your lever to support@sdgcomponents.com? We’ve only seen it break at the grub screw so it would be good to see where yours is breaking.

SDG Releases New Adjustable Dropper Lever
We have heard of some customers who had their cable chewed up, so we used a washer & cable system on this version to sandwich the cable. This should completely eradicate the chewing up of cables that you have experienced in the past.

Very few brands own the means to production as it's so expensive to do so, but we still engineer, sample and test every single product we make. There's certainly a massive amount more that goes into selling a product when you engineer it yourself than simply "market and distribute".
Every single saddle we make we have designed and tooled the bases, foam design and covers. We partner with the best manufacturing partners to work with to have them manufacture the designs we have made.
The Tellis post does use many off the shelf elements where it made sense to make it easier from an end user servicing perspective, but we still tooled many of our own components of the post to improve on it where it made sense.
It certainly would be easier to not have to engineer, design, sample & test a new product a multitude of times before launching it, but we like to ensure the product we launch is something we can be completely proud of and not something just rebranded and sold like you're saying we do.

@CircusMaximus: We obviously monitor warranty claims regularly for any consistent issues, but unfortunately non-warranty feedback like this from the dealer level is rarely transmitted to us. We have a QC team in Taiwan as well as in the USA that does inspections on every batch, but that doesn't really give us the full scope like dealer feedback does.

@mior: that's unfortunately been pushed back closer to a Q4 2022 launch due to some consistent supply chain delays. However, I can definitely confirm this is still a very real project we are still pursuing!
