Thank you for the feedback and we would like to clarify as there has been some miscommunication here. We have used this bolt configuration for 13 years without issue and can reassure you there is no design flaw. It is the same configuration that we have on our Myst downhill bike raced by the Madison Saracen team at World Cups. At this particular demo the bikes were box fresh, the first time they had been ridden by anyone and any new bike needs time to bed in. We thoroughly check bikes after each use at a demo event for safety but this does not mean there is an issue with any of the bikes. Sorry we didn't do into more detail for you. The Ariel 30 has 130mm travel, the Ariel 60 has 160mm travel and the Ariel 80 has 180mm travel. If you'd like full information including full spec and geometry across all models, please head to www.saracen.co.uk
