Dec 30, 2016Norco 125
$100 CADHey hey,
Selling a 2007 Norco 125. ***NO Front wheel***
I purchsed this frame back in 2010 and built it from the ground up til mid 2011. Unfortunately, I did that college thing and lost all my free time, now with a career and stuff.
This bike has literally been sitting still for the past 5-6 years, unused, uncaressed, untouched, and unloved.
All in all, even when it was complete, I rode this bike less than 10 times.
Frame - 2007 Norco 125. I recieved this green. I stripped it and painted it red.
Fork - 2006 Marzocchi DJ3, 4" travel. Stanchions are mint with no scratches. (Funny enough, picked this up off PB in 2010 and I still have the pm convo in my inbox, and the link to the original ad here. http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1020439)
Headset - FSA The Pig.
Stem - .243 racing stem
Handlebars - Syncros Rise bars, custom painted red. 25.4mm
Grips - Generic Lock-on grips. Thick grips too, for people with big hands.
Front Wheel - ***NONE*** Wheel in picture is just to hold the bike up. TIRE/tube included though.
Rear Wheel - Single Track rim on Deore hub. I believe it's a 12mm thu axle.
Tires - CST Cheyenne tires. 26" x 2.10". BOTH Tires available, and tubes.
Spindle - 48-spline isis spindle. (Originally sold to me as a ti spindle, but it felt too heavy and I think that guy lied to me)
Cranks - Block8 cranks, custom painted red. (That noise you heard was all the biking vets from 2006 and prior doing a doubletake at "Block8".)
Front Sprocket - Can't remember
Rear Sprocket - Gusset sprocket. I believe it's a 9 or 11-tooth, but I could be mistaken. It was the smallest size sprocket you were able to get on an MTB so many years ago.
Chain - KMC Z410, red, 1/2" x 1/8". Put in 1 half-link in there too. That's the white peice. Also including the original box, with the extra peices I removed from the chain
Pedals - Wellgo B-19 pedals?
Rear Rotor - Aliigator rotor, 6".
Seat - Generic (clamp too)
I will be completely honest when I say that this bike did give me a few issues. They're still unresolved, and that's part of the reason why it's selling for so cheap.
1 - Not entirely sure if the headset has been installed properly. I run into an issue where if I tighten the top cap on the stem too much, it locks the entire front end and I can't move/rotate anything.
2 - No matter what I tried, I wasn't able to get a back brake caliper on there. No matter how I tried to set it up, it constantly rubbed with the disc.
3 - I think the front sprocket has a bit of a wobble. The chain used to fall off every now and then when riding.
Pickup at 427/Bloor. I live on Eva road, which is an exit off 427 South.
Delivery - I can deliver. My area for delivery is Steeles/Lakeshore/Spadina/Mavis.
Please feel free to call or text me with any questions
