A 16 year old who loves enduro riding on an older enduro setup. Created loads of trails in my back yard with his friends and also loves fishing. I'm on a high school fishing team, so I'm all out of money between fishing and biking.

Great Condition Rebuilt Giant NRS XC 16.5" Frame

$480 USD
This is one of the best bikes ever! This is a Giant NRS, 2003 or 2004 model, I believe. Built up nearly custom from the frame, this vintage bike performs just as well or better than some of my friends' newer bikes. Optimal for riders between 5’2 and 5’8, this bike is a real hybrid between an XC and Trail bike. it is also somewhere between a hard tail and FS on the climb, meaning zero seat bob thanks to the NRS design, which won multiple awards when it was first released. Don’t be intimidated by the small travel and suspension, this bike can handle everything. I’ve done (and cased) 10 foot gaps, 4 foot huck to flats, and up to 15 foot tabletop jumps on this bike, and it has handled them beautifully. It’s also phenomenal on climbs (I’ve reached 20mph on some climbs). This was pretty much my project bike, and I’ve invested well over $500 on new parts in the last year or so. Some highlights of it are: Maintou Markhor Reverse Arch Fork 100 MM travel ($250 value) Recently converted to a 1x system, meaning it has only one gear in the front, saving weight and improving performance RaceFace Narrow Wide chain ring ($50 value) Truvativ Cranks ($60 value) New Rear Wheelset ($80 value) New Tires (CST Rock Hawk on front, $30 value, CST Heathen on back, $30 value) HT Components Flat Pedals ($50 value) SRAM X-4 derailleur ($45 dollar value) PLATT Seat Clamp ($10 value) 100 MM front and 50 MM rear travel 16.5 inch frame All these upgrades will extend the lifetime of this bike greatly, and make it extremely smooth and powerful. Lastly, this bike does have some minor scratches and dents, but have been inspected by several different mechanics, and are mechanically not impacting the bike. It has been very well maintained and cared for. This bike is great, and I hope whoever ends up with it enjoys it. If anyone is interested, or has any questions, feel free to send me a direct message.
