@idontknowwhatiexpected: That is incredibly short sighted. Multi use trails make up a large percentage of rides available. The MTB community has spent years fighting for access and it would be a huge loss for the industry to lose any trails.

Our Colorado county has defined a class 1 ebike as 750 watts maximum. Yeti is a mile down the street, Commencal too. I've already seen ebikes scare the piss out of hikers powering uphill with no warning. Add more power, more potential conflict.
