What I really wanna know is what the rest of world thinks of the SA accent?... Whenever I hear it on TV I think, damn, it sounds crisp.... But that is an obvious bias as it's what I'm used to... What do you think? PS Sharlto Copley doesn't count! :D

Stemtee's World Cup Winning €4,000 Shock
Years ago I had a Giant AC2... The bike was due for replacement so instead of replacing the linkage bearings I replaced them all with needles bearings just as an experiment... The difference was insane... There was almost zero friction... Got rid of the frame soon afterwards but definitely left me wondering... Never had the chance to test the durability

When you realise the V10 is the fastest bike on the track not because of the wheel size, but because the VPP link looks like a fidget spinner... Mind=Blown

Tech Randoms – Fort William DH World Cup
@Fix-the-Spade: What I'd also add is clutch derailleurs... In my experience the chain growth of older single pivots meant a dropped chain non stop if the cables lost a some tension...When I got my GT it didn't have a clutch derailleur, but at the same time never dropped the chain as much as the single pivot... But adding a modern derailleur to a single pivot goes a long way to fix that problem... How else would Orange be able to rock single chainrings with no chainguide otherwise? Agree completely with you on the pedalling side of things... That wheel tracks the ground like white on rice and bob is minimal compared with the single pivot I had before it... On the downs I learned to live with that weird feeling at the feet by sitting a little further back than usual and it seemed to work for me... What was a complete headache was the maintenance... Those big pivots loosened themselves all the time and the bike would creak nonstop if they were even slightly loose... and the rear shock had to be tuned absolutely perfectly and have the right pressure down to the last digit... Volume spacer was essential... But when everything gelled the bike ran like a dream
