Review: 2021 Santa Cruz Bullit - The Electrified Freeride Machine
@DoubleCrownAddict: It's really not as much of a Triggered, Snowflake comment as you make it out to be. I'm disappointed that it's not as cool as it could have been. It's similar to the sadness I feel with the new Chevrolet Blazer. It's nothing like the original and only shares the same name. It's not hating E-Bikes, just disappointed in SC for what they did with an Iconic name.

Alchemy's New Arktos Combines 3 Travel Configurations & 2 Wheel Sizes in 1 Frame
That's one of my biggest gripes on these "3 travel configurations and 2 wheel sizes in one frame" bikes. I don't want a bike that has built in compromises. I want it to do a single job that it was designed for and to do it well. Sure it saves costs but if I want to race enduro, I'll get an enduro bike not a "does everything ok" bike.

Data Indicates that Bike Theft is on the Rise During the COVID 19 Pandemic
@conoat: Agree that the distinction needs to be made. Thiefs are the scum of the earth, but there is something seriously wrong with deriving enjoyment from the pain and suffering that you cause to others. Then publicizing that online so that you may profit from that suffering through your YouTube views.

Data Indicates that Bike Theft is on the Rise During the COVID 19 Pandemic
@conoat: I'm not sure that's the point being argued here. If every one of us had the chance to stop someone from stealing our bike, I'm sure there would be some physical force used. I don't think lethal force would be justified in recovering a bike. I think the issue at hand was that "Petty crimes do not deserve brutal physical punishments doled out by vigilantes" and that is what Bait Bikes are. I'm sure that we all want to see justice served, but bait bikes are immoral. They target the wrong people. someone walking off with an unattended bait bike (that is usually low quality and looks discarded) is very different to someone breaking into your garage, cutting your lock, or driving their truck through the front window of a bike shop. Bait Bike YouTube videos are made for likes and do nothing to deter people from breaking into your house to steal your bike. If every one of us had the chance to stop someone from stealing our bike, I'm sure there would be some physical force used. I don't think lethal force would be justified in recovering a bike.

A Closer Look at the Production Privee CNC'd Downhill Bike
@morewhitenoise: Tubes are probably more economical if the frame design is simple. Looking at this bike, it's anything but simple. I would guess that having the entire frame CNC helps to make the process more simple. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to build that whole bike with tubes. You would have to deal with a lot of Heat from the welds, distortion, and you would probably still have to CNC a ton of pieces to make the tube welding possible. This is probably the easiest fastest way to create a prototype.

Interview: Adam Sklar - A 27-Year-Old Building Hardcore Hardtails from Steel and Titanium
@rickybobby18: On the other hand, It seems that there are many more people equipped to repair metal bikes than carbon bikes. I've seen people go so far as to replace the entire rear triangle of a steel frame. It seems a much easier prospect to repair metal.

Fezzari Wire Peak eMTB Now Available with Shimano EP8 Motor
@ocnlogan: I understand, but routing all of those things internally through the frame will usually involve removing the battery and motor and possible the battery mount that bolts into the frame.

Fezzari Wire Peak eMTB Now Available with Shimano EP8 Motor
Fezzari will customize the bike for you with the components you want. I would wager it's not available as a frame usually since it's not the most user friendly to set up the motor and battery.
