First Ride: The New Orbea Wild LT Uses a Heavily Modified Avinox Motor
@garybuseysfrontteeth: I don’t know how to explain this to you, so here’s the internet definition: Industrial design (ID) is the professional practice of designing and developing mass-produced products, devices, and services. Industrial designers consider a product's functionality, appearance, and manufacturability, aiming to improve the user's experience. Hope this clears things up. If not, maybe take on a homework assignment and learn something new on your own time.

@garybuseysfrontteeth: industrial design is the design of products "for" industry. Not the design of industrial equipment. It's how people often refer to product design, but in this case, it's talking about the aesthetic decisions made by the designers.

Taken Cycles Launches New All-Mountain / Enduro Frame
@chriskneeland: I was just misunderstanding what the CBF patent was actually for. It's not a patent for any specific suspension design, merely the methodology that they use to achieve their desired kinematics. So they can apply their method to Horst, Dual Link or whatever and that process is patent protected, though the result might not necessarily be.

Taken Cycles Launches New All-Mountain / Enduro Frame
@jackfunk: sounds like they just want a fancy name for 4bar. Not saying it can’t be good though.

Taken Cycles Launches New All-Mountain / Enduro Frame
@OldschoolAK: So it's a 4bar? How is it a CBF 4bar and not the same as any other Horst link bike? The Horst link patent ran out a while ago, so how is this any different?
