Day One Results: EWS Madeira 2019
@adespotoskyli: Nah, Martin is riding a stock Flow EX3 rear rim, 27.5" and Flow MK3 front rim, 29". Anybody can buy those same rims. We sell orange decals for both models. We need to make a 28.25" rim and call it a new "standard" :)

@thenotoriousmic: That's a good question and more for GT, but we'll ask them for details and share them on notubes.com's blog if we can. There is a BB height adjust chip on the Force, but it's usually set to "low" slack mode on Martin's bike (opposite of correcting for smaller wheel size) and he usually runs a 160mm fork. No matter how you look at it, that has to be a pretty slack HT angle. Reading most bike checks and interviews, though (like Levy's here: https://www.pinkbike.com/news/gt-force-martin-maes-ews-finale-ligure-2018.html ) you get the feeling Martin 1) rides bike once 2) adapts 3) goes real fast.

Stan's NoTubes Flow EX3 27.5" Rear and Flow MK3 29" Front Full Disclosure: We make those wheels and sell them to people. We also give them to insanely talented racers who win everything to make you want to buy them to be like those racers. Full FULL Disclosure: You are probably not going to be as fast as Martin Maes. Pro Tip: Getting the orange decals will make you look even more like Martin.
