Basically this bike has the equivalent to about 1.5 seasons on it. Reason for selling is life has gotten busy and I would rather ride my hardtail with bike parks shut down.
I am on vacation for most of September but let me know if you have any questions. I am located in Seattle, WA.

Aug 4, 2018Kona Process 134 DL Custom Build
$1700 USD2015 Kona Process for sale. Built it ground up a few years ago to get me through college. Mechanic maintained and ready to rip the trails! see the specs below.
Aluminum Frame w/ 134mm of rear travel
- 2016 Fox 34 150mm of travel
- Cane Creek DB inline shock
- Renthal FatBar 780mm width
- Kore Stem 35mm Length
- KS Lev dropper post 125mm travel
- Shimano Slx Cranks 175mm length w/ 32T narrow wide single ring
- Ergon GE1 Grips
- Shimano Slx drivetrain. New chain and brake pads.
- Shimano XT brakes w/ 180mm Rotors
- WTB Silverado Saddle
- Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5 WT front, High Roller II 2.3 rear.
- Hope Pro 4 32H hubs w/ Raceface Arc 27 rims. Built up last year.
What comes additional with this bike will be the original Rockshox monarch shock and a extra High Roller II 2.3" tire. Also, something else that makes this bike unique is a custom rear shock offset bushing that slackens the head angle out about a half degree. I will also include the original shock bushing.
*Pedals not included
Since this bike is mechanic owned it is in excellent shape. There is a little bit of rash from use, including a minor wear spot on the rear triangle from cable rub. The linkage bushings feel great and the suspension plush. The drivetrain is in excellent condition and shifts just like it should. The wheels spin true to eye and the tires have a total of 4 rides on them. The brakes feel amazing with new pads and a bleed. Bottom line this bike is a Trail/Enduro ready shredder that wants to be ridden hard. Give me a shout if you are interested!

2018 Devinci Spartan - First Look
@jclnv: I'm in no professional, but iv'e done my fair share of dabbling in vehicle dynamics. So i'll bite.
I believe the term your looking for is longitudinal load transfer. And load transfer, as I understand it, does not deal in mass as it does center of gravity. I can tell you right now that the center of gravity of a bike w/ rider is not at the BB. Load transfer can be manipulated with CG location, wheelbase, and damping (not spring rate!). Looking at an F1 car can show you a CG toward the rear of the car. Long front centers do a good job at keeping the rider (main contributor to CG) back further. So, why would that be a bad thing on a bike? I dig my long front center and short CS on my Kona Process. Thing is stable and playful. Turns like a tractor in switchbacks though.
My unwanted two cents,
Stephan

Aug 27, 2016Rockshox Pike RTC3 150mm 650B
$350 USDThe steerer tube has always a little short for my bike (7" in length) so its time for it to go. Used for a couple season but in fantastic shape. nicks and dings on the lowers and crown from use and adjustment but the fork cycles great. Stanchions are immaculate and seals/oil new. If you are trying to get next level performance out of your bike this is it!
