@cueTIP: well believe it or not both of mine died ... and like my DB5 brakes warranty is useless in the middle of nowhere on your weekend or holiday. You don’t have a freakin’ SRAM fairy turns up and fixes your post, brakes or exploded mech when it’s pissing down with rain and you have to carry the bike for hours or can’t raise a seatpost The SRAM pistons went into how many generations.. not so many as the water intake valve or circlip made of cheese but they still continued a known faulty design for years. As for warranty ..like many others I couldn’t give a toss.. I’m riding or working and pissing about with warranty claims is time nor riding and why would I put the same fundamentally flawed product back at all?

Pinkbike Poll - What Matters Most: World Cup or World Champs?
The two can't really be compared and surely it depends on the support rider gets. Winning the WC means a season without major injury .... and for a Pro (as per question) that means money, bike, expenses. Taking part in the WC .. well firstly you have to be selected by the national body so it is that national body you are really representing, if you don't play the right politics then ??? ... the sum total of their support being: "here is a jersey and if you damage it you need to pay for a replacement" to the other side and for example the training and support given to the Swiss XC team. Maybe some countries even make the riders pay for their OWN jersey... but depending on the national selection comittee you (or as a pro your sponsors) may need to get there on your own expense and provide your own bike and pay for your own medical and physio throughout the whole year.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Listen to Music While Riding?
I’m recording my Hope and Halo hubs so if I ever have to use a hub without music I will feel at home. Now all it takes is a lottery win and someone to make a way to ditch the loose bearings and I’ll be XTR all the way.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Listen to Music While Riding?
I don’t understand it either but if people wanna ride with headphones it’s their choice. Mostly it depends on the place and style. Hucking it DH ... it doesn’t make much difference until your too close. No one is about to hear anyone else inside a FF on a DH track with or without. On a mild XC type trail then it might depend on available passing (or not) .. climbing a fire road ?. Speakers ... should be confined to DJ and such.. and to be fair when I go to DJ even though the music is usually decades too new for me and not something I’d ever listen to it does seem appropriate (ish)

Giant XtC Advanced 27.5.1 Frame/Forks ...

$800 GBP
I'm selling my Giant XtC (Medium Frame) as I'm no longer racing but my kid is and I need to fund his bike... This is a very light XC race carbon frame and I'm 5'10 and it fits perfectly. Included are Frame (XtC Advanced) , Forks (Fox Float Factory CTD Remote, 100mm travel, 15mm Thru-Axle, OverDrive Tapered Steerer), headset (FSA Overdrive) and bottom bracket (XT pressfit). I'd leave the cable inners and hoses in the frame in any event ... Forks were serviced (through local Evans) June 2016 and have only seen 20 miles since. (Hence reason to sell) CTD remote included (scratched/anondising worn at top but works perfectly). The headset and bottom bracket are original and are both working great but if I was rebuilding I'd probably just get new bearings for the headset and change the BB anyway. (as both are cheap). The plastic bit on the fork that holds the brake hose is missing (got dropped in grass) and I never replaced it as having put on a zip-tie it's more flexible on positioning. I'd assume anyone buying would rebuild with 11 speed but just selling the frame separately getting the forks and headset at a decent price would be a pain for anyone so I'm bundling. Equally everything else I will reuse on my trail bike or kids race bike as both are XT 780 series groupsets so I'm not pushing to sell the extras. This is the 2015 model Advanced 1 and could include EVERYTHING original spec but the wheels (wheels if you really want to offer more but these are wider and slightly heavier P-TRX-carbon not the P-XCR ) and I prefer not to sell. (The rear rim was reversed over by a car and I managed to get the TRX carbon rims) The photo's show SLX cranks but the XT originals are available but have a lot of pedal rub on the cranks (and are currently on my trail bike). The chain rings are also available if you want the cranks and the chainrings and left shifter all available for £50 extra. The original bars are available but have a scratch underneath... and the current carbon bars equally could be included as can the original Stem, Giant Carbon seatpost and Fisik Tundra saddle. Same goes for the M785 brakes and right (rear) 10 speed shifter (I-spec B) There are a few cosmetic scratches, these are transporting the bike with my kids bike to races. I really prefer someone to collect so they can see. There are a few paint scratches but the photo's make some look worse and others don't really show. Non of it would affect the frame but I'd prefer someone see's first.
