Syncros Hixon Carbon Stem/Handlebar, New, Orange
$300 USDI have an extremely rare Syncros Hixon iC SL one piece carbon stem/bar from a 2020 Scott Genius Tuned. Scott did sell these in the bare carbon color but this orange version was only available on the Tuned bike. It was removed immediately when the bike was taken from the box so this one is completely unridden. I was holding onto it for a special project but now it's time to let them go.
This will mount on almost any bike and will fit on any 1-1/8" steerer. This is not the integrated model for the newer Scott's with the cables into the headset. You can use this with either round headset spacers or the lipped ones on a Scott.
50mm stem length, 800mm bar width.
The shape matching Syncros top cap and bolt included, but you can also use any round top cap.
The original list price of the plain carbon black version was $329. I'm listing this below that but also at the value I think a very rare item like this is worth.

Pidcock, Discovery, & Other Things We Learned from the Nove Mesto XC World Cup 2023
Just my opinion here - I always like Bart but he is best in 2nd chair. To me it felt like he believes he now holds seniority and was pushing as primary commentator. This led to the overlapping. On Red Bull, Rob led and Bart backed up his questions and comments. Ric doesn’t have a big enough personality to command the box. Discovery needed someone who owns that commentary box and the TV screen. Did I miss something or did we never see them on camera either?
I really missed rolling lap times from top 10/top 15. Where were Kate/Jenny/Yolanda for instance - well it turns out they were hovering near top 10 but nobody had any idea.
Discovery launches the new MAX app combined with HBO in a week. I assume my HBO max app will become this (which is also on Roku unlike GCN) and then I’d want to see a much more polished presentation. Strike that - Discovery MUST deliver a more polished, more thorough, more slick presentation because now I’m paying for both MAX and GCN+.

Ok, let's address this chamois condundrum. Whenever I see comments like swamp ass, diaper feel, soggy, bacteria pit, etc etc, I know you have likely never used a proper chamois. There is only one choice here - a very nice (and unfortunately expensive $100+) set of lycra bib shorts. You then wear your baggies over them. If you have never been a road rider or I suppose XC racer then you likely don't do this, and you're missing out on great comfort.
Obviously some riders are good without anything, but if you are someone looking for more comfort, this is your solution. The wrong sadlde shape for your body and riding style will still hurt over time and the chamois won't fix that.
