Loïc Bruni Sidelined for 3 Months Following Wrist Surgery
Absolute bummer, healing vibes. And what a bloody class act, taking time to congrat Luca is the sort of move that keeps him in such high regard with so many people (obviously, his riding does a lot of that as well) Take the opportunity by the horns, hang with the little dude, you won't get that chance again. Look forward to seeing you back.

Giant Cypher, perfect kids' bike

$250 GBP
Giant Cypher, I believe it's an XS, 26" Wheels 100mm Rockshox SID. Worked great for a 10 -12 year old. Hope Pro2 front hub, Shimano non series rear, Superstar rims.  1 x 10 - SLX rear mech, Sunrace (I think) cassette (11-42), OneUp cage. High Roller rear, Butcher front.  152mm Suntour cranks Shimano MT-410 brakes, Superstar colour matched rotors Crank Bros bars Superstar stem Although not super modern, this was a brilliant first full suss bike for my son. It's pretty light, suspension is supple, and properly fittted him. Unfortunately he's done the whole growing thing. Generally in good nick, the frame has some scuffs but the lacquered brushed finish hides them well.  After £250 collected from near Stratford Upon Avon, not able to post at the mo as I don't have a box!

Camille Balanche Announces her Retirement from World Cup Downhill Racing
Cami, you've been an inspiration to watch. You appeared on the circuit and kicked ass from the off, the whole time your positivity and general attitude were brilliant to watch. Thoroughly enjoy watching you race. Head injuries are no joke, can't have been an easy decision but sounds like 100% the right thing to do. All the best for whatever you choose to do moving forwards.

Camille Balanche Announces her Retirement from World Cup Downhill Racing
@likeittacky: my sister could not be more positive, active, or health conscious, and she was utterly fucked by long COVID. Then here we are 2 years after her recovery and it's knocked her for 6 again. Your conspiracist diatribe is frankly insulting to people like her. I hope the last page of every good book you read is missing.

Bird Aeris 120, ML

$400 GBP
2019 Bird Aeris 120 in ML in metallic ginger 470 reach, 598 stack, 440ST 67HA type affair Rockshox  Deluxe Ultimate rear shock Rockshox Recon fork w/lockout (no lever) at 130mm (I think) KS internal Dropper 11 Spd SLX Cassette/SLX shifter/Microshift XCD rear mech Ibis Bars/Funn stem/DMR Deathgrips SRAM S1000 cranks w/Uberbike ring, Shimano BB WTB i25 front wheel/hub Superstar Trail 24 Rear wheel Maxxis HR2 front/Ardent race rear Nukeproof composite pedals Clarks Clout brakes (180 SRAM centreline F/random 160 rear) This was built from my old frame and parts bin as a budget bike for a mate, but he ended up buying a wedding instead.  Frame has been taped from new, there are a few marks on the tape from tube straps (top tube) and a few small chips on the frame but it's in pretty nice condition under the wrap. Bearings were done a few years ago but not ridden much since Rear wheel is serviceable, but it's not brilliant. Hasn't let me down but there's a bit of play in the bearings.  It's a great starter full suss or fun XC build (I ran it with a -2 headset and it was a great fun summer hack) Collection from the midlands near Stratford,

Yeah man, that was a genuine sharp-intake-of-breath moment. Heal up quick Cami, one of my favourite riders, such a great attitude , and absolute nails.
