Yep, what he said. I use to install this stuff for years on NASCAR cup cars and trucks, Daytona prototypes and high-end exotics. The 3M paint protection film has a clear coat on the outside of it to keep it looking good for the long haul. You can wax it just like the rest of the paint on the car or whatever you have it on. In my years of working with it I have never had any comeback or warranty work for it turning yellowish. I have it on my own personal cars. I just removed it from my in-laws car (huge pain in the butt, 14year old PPF) before they traded it in and the original paint looked brand new with zero chips, scratches or fade.
