Review: The Outlier Metronome Self-Leveling Flat Pedal is Superior, & Frustrating
I will add, the space between the crank arm and pedal needs to be chamfered or wider. I constantly had to clean that area out of grass and fox tails to keep the self leveling working. I also would get mid foot pain on longer descents from lack of support in the middle of the pedal even with stiff sole shoes. After using them for about 6 months I learned what I really needed was a larger platform and ended up going with the CB Stamp EVOs

At What Point Does Mountain Biking Go From Inspiring to Unrelatable?
Speaking for myself, If its unrelatable I don't watch it or engage with it, simple as that. Why everyone feels they have to have an opinion about how others aspire or have fun is unrelatable to me. Everyone wants to define "mountain biking" based on their own subjective reality. the PB comments that basically say to "it's not mtb if you don't X" and its such a BS myopic view of things.

@fiekaodclked: lol, I really hope that's not their attitude. Generally I think buyers are absolutely considering weight and most people would like to see ebike weights go in a downward trajectory.
