Video: Friday Fails #316
#1, Only because it's Santa!!!! That was a good week, some really good ones in there and none left me wondering if they lived.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Use Your Climb Switch?
At the Eastern States Cup races they have a few adults ride with the 12 and under kids and after a transfer they always make sure the kids have there suspension unlocked, I want to ride with them just for that purpose. I have been know to forget...

Henry's Waffle House: All-Mountain Bikes Are Back, and They're More Pointless Than Ever
@g-42: I am 55 and on v1 Sentinel with a Cascade Link and longer stroke shock. I think it is 154mm???? I put a 170mm fork on it and have 2 wheel sets, one with lighter trail tires and the other with DH tires. I swap the wheels for race/park weekends and have fun on my local trails the rest of the time. I keep looking at the Spire but everything keeps pointing me back to the v2 Sentinel as my next bike, or wait for the v3 which I think will only have UDH as the change? For the record due to my schedule I do ride alone a lot though.

Greg Callaghan Reveals 2024 Racing Plans
Best of luck to GC, sucks seeing good people having to make a go at it on their own without factory support. (I don't know Greg but he does seem like good people, like a lot of the good riders trying to get through 2024 on minimal support)

Video: Friday Fails #314
I have seen #4 enough times, violent. I voted #12 just because it is hilarious and the one guy goes back to looking at his bike like nothing happened.

Review: 2024 Norco Sight - For All the Mountains
@cool3: I agree, I have a V1 Sentinel with Cascade link and a 38, I run DH tires at races and have another wheel set with Double Downs and it is right around 31 with OneUp pump. Seems like these bikes at 150mm should be around 33??

Review: SRAM's New Maven Brakes - The Big Brake
You and I must be unicorns, mine are 4+ years old as well. I did buy the new HS2 rotors and Galfer brake pads and find the modulation and power fine, I weigh about 210LBS. I have bled the front once and did replace the entire rear a few years ago from a crash and have bled that maybe once as well. I would like to try these though as I agree that you can never have too much power. The Shimano's on my ebike are very powerful but inconsistent lever and also the power is all on. Wet condition riding can be interesting!

Video: Red Bull Hardline Tasmania Course Testing with Bernard Kerr
@andwats: I agree they are long and need to be shorter, but I also like seeing "a day in the life of BK" which is what I think he is trying to do. I am good for about 30 minutes but would be happy at 15.
