It was around 2004 when I was first introduced to snowscoot. I loved biking so much and was depressed during the 6 months of the year where bike riding was near impossible. A shop owner (Isabelle) introduced me to this weird bike/scooter/ski hybrid. I gave it a try. She would bring me to ski hills surrounding our town, (Sherbrooke, Qc) and would lent me a snowscoot. I was 14 or 15 at the time, and it did not took long for me to get hooked, it was amazing! Since then, ten + years after, I have been part of the small snowscoot community here in Quebec, just having fun, riding away the winter blues. And best of all, I found out that the abilities you learn on the snowscoot helps on the bike as well. So it became not just a way to pass time when riding bikes is impossible, but also a sport in itself that would help me gain skills on my bike.

More often than not, you will see riders on ski hills, but for my part, ski tickets being so expensive, I've grown found of urban snowscooting. From everything to technical jibs on a picnic tables to big jumps handbuilt near highways, it's been the kind of riding I enjoy most.

Enjoy!
