A fanatic about anything on two wheels, only seriously got into mountain biking only 2 years ago. However, grew up riding motorcross bikes, for the last 18 years. So most of my single track (my favorite type of riding) and enduro skills transferred pretty directly.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: What Grips Pinkbike Editors Actually Use
Finally another connasieur of full sized grips. Glad to see I'm not the only one shopping on the plus size of the grip market.
Love my rogues put them onto everything save the bmx's.
Maybe it's because I've got oven mitts for hands or maybe its because of my moto background. Either I always feel ostraziced in grip reviews as everyone seems to be chasing the thinnest grips possible but rarely is there any love shown to the other end of the spectrum.

Jun 12, 2024Kona Process 167
$2000 CAD2015 Kona Process bought new as old overstock near end of 2017. Frame size large. Full geo in last photo.
Great bike, super poppy & playful, manuals like a dream, super capable. Few bikes these days carry the energy of this one on the trail. Will be sad to see it go but have to make some space in the shop. Bike is fully refreshed and ready to charge.
- Lyrik 170mm front fork - full rebuild in 2022, upgraded internals to the modern Charger 2.1 damper. Ridden for ~1/2 season as I had to move across the country to NL. Regularly serviced since, fresh lower service done at end of last season, yet to be ridden.
- Rockshox Vivid Air RC2 rear shock (167mmm rear travel), freshly rebuilt by rockshox service dealer - zero hours ridden since rebuild (warrantied, was running a coil instead)
- All suspension pivots replaced in 2022
- Brakes: avid guide RS front and rear. Fresh rebuilds and bleeds (front and rear) from factory due to warranty work (seal swell issue) now fixed. Zero hours on rebuild, was running alternative brakes. Nice brakes, the extra swing link of the RS helps a fair amount with power while maintaining good modulation. Have additional pads (metallics and organics I believe) which can be included if price is right.
New lock on grips, riser bars and seat (old bits migrated to different bikes)
New raceface atlas cranks and BB for start of 2023 (~1/2 season of riding).
Sram XO1 shifter and derailleur
New rear cassette, chain and rear hub - zero hours (gears freshly indexed as well ofc)
Wolftooth oval chainring
Tires: Currently in a fast rolling summer setup: Minion DHF super tacky front, minion SS dual compound rear
Dropper: KS Lev (150mm I believe)
Will ship within country at Buyers expense
Note: Location is St. John's NL, will try and update my PB profile location later. Feel free to pm me if you have any further questions.
Cheers,
VF
