Day 1 Randoms - Eurobike 2019
I've never had it fail on my KLIM backcountry snowmobile boots, guess we've had different experiences there.

73-Year-Old Man Rescued by Mountain Biker After 4 Days in Desert
@cwatt: I picked up an inReach last month. Between the backpacking, biking, backcountry snowmobiling and elk hunting it seemed (finally) like a no-brainer.

Vail Resorts to Acquire 17 Mountains in North America
@sino428: I found that in the 17/18 season there were 472 ski areas in the US. Vail is definitely light years away from being a monopoly! https://www.statista.com/statistics/206534/number-of-ski-resorts-operating-in-the-us-since-1990/

Vail Resorts to Acquire 17 Mountains in North America
There are an incredible number of resorts that Vail doesn't own. I, for one, am thankful the government can't step in...

Vista Outdoor Sells Off Firearms Brands for $170 Million
@spankthewan: If you think "your" side is flawless you're as dumb as the other side. Both parties are so pathetic it isn't even funny. The world isn't black and white, but you sure seem to describe it as such. The US in 2019 is 100% if you aren't with us, you're against us. Again -> pathetic.

Improving Mountain Biking One Design at a Time - Sunday Comics with Taj Mihelich
That may be correct. I will say this though - When we were in Germany 2 years ago my wife and I were in a small mountain town with a ton of single track. I kid you not that +80% of the dual suspension mountain bikes were e-bikes. With that in mind I highly doubt they are going away. They are still the minority here in CO, but I am starting to see more. When I get older if that's what keeps me biking I'd "swallow my pride" and get one...I'd rather ride than not. :)
