Former Bike Mag Staff to Create New MTB Title at Pocket Outdoor Media
I subscribed to Freehub, Bike and Dirtrag. 2/3 are now gone. Will definitely subscribe to this new venture. Always a great feeling coming home from a dumb day at work to a new bike magazine awaiting me in the mailbox.

Bike, Surfer, Powder, & Snowboarder Magazines Shut Down
This sucks. I've been a subscriber for around 10 years now to Bike, Freehub and Dirt Rag. I still have every issue of all those. Hopefully Freehub survives. I love the convenience of the internet, but nothing beats flipping through the physical pages of those magazines out on my deck with a nice cup of coffee to get me pumped for riding.

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 18 - Are Electronics on Your Mountain Bike Good or Bad?
I'm all for these sorts of gizmos on bikes as long as they don't become the normal and analog goes away. I have enough nonsense i need to keep charged.

Field Test: Transition Spur - Made to Descend
transition seems to have moved away from any offering in aluminum, so i wouldn't hold out for one.

First Look: Transition's All-New Spur is a Rowdy XC Bike
@thegoodflow: When I was getting my new shock they said if i "overshocked" it, it would void the warranty. But that's because there was the possibility of the shock damaging the frame. I'm not 100% certain they'd void it for longer forks, but it'd be worth asking about.

MTB on a Budget: Where to Spend & Where to Save on Bike Parts
I've had my GX groupset for 2 years now and never had any issues with it. Maybe i'm just lucky.
