Throwback Thursday: The Collective Full Movie with Ryan Leech, Thomas Vanderham, Tyler Klassen & More
This movie got me super into 4 things at once when I first saw it at 14: mountain biking, hardcore/punk music, hip hop, and photography. To this day I’ve still not had the tingles down my spine like did when I first saw Romaniuk hit that massive step down and then hearing rise against for the first time.

5 Things We Learned From the 2025 Red Bull Rampage
I’ve been going to the event for 10 years and hiked the athletes bikes up last year and got to watch multiple riders fight anxiety attacks when they were hiking up. It was stressful as f*ck that year even when nobody got hurt, but this year sat weird with me, especially when Red Bull couldn’t be bothered to help the athletes they profit off of. You guys can do what you guys want but it doesn’t sit well with me that eventually one of these years we’re all going to watch someone die for the sake of pushing the sport and Red Bull will still profit off of the athletes with next to no regard for them. (Also watched Red Bull try to brush Paul Bas under the rug in 2015, assuring everyone he was fine and would make a full recovery). I’ll still go out there for the week to ride and party and will continue to ride lines at the old site and new site but I am actually done watching the event in person.

Adolf Silva Confirms Serious Spinal Injury After Rampage Finals Crash - Fundraiser Launched
@suspended-flesh: i did donate but i shouldn't have to. i don't recall ever making a profit off of modern day gladiators. if an NFL player brakes their neck, i wonder who would foot that bill...

U.S. Budget Proposal Includes Plan to Sell 3 Million Acres of Public Land
@rideordie35: missing the point. there's a reason they keep voluntarily showing up eager to work here.... because it's better than the alternative back in their homeland we helped destabilize, and it's safer for them here. and if you're gonna try to play the empathetic/humanitarian angle here all of a sudden, try not to gloss over the fact that you guys have been fine with separating their families and putting them in cages indefinitely for the last couple decades.

U.S. Budget Proposal Includes Plan to Sell 3 Million Acres of Public Land
@MikeGruhler: I was vehemently against Obama deporting en masse just like I am now. And it’s not exactly slave labor if the people are eager to come here to work — it’s mutually beneficial to us and to them, especially after we’ve destabilized the f*ck out of their country, given cartels a monopoly via the war on drugs, supplied weapons to the cartels (operation fast and the furious — not a theory). We are complicit, the least we could do is help them. Who would Jesus deport?

U.S. Budget Proposal Includes Plan to Sell 3 Million Acres of Public Land
@jfog52: due process is to prove that they are in fact illegal immigrants -- if they don't have due process then neither do you. look:
"we're arresting you on suspicion of illegal immigration."
"woah woah woah. i'm a US citizen. Don't I have due process to prove that?"
"no. because you're an illegal immigrant"
making your government infallible is step 1 of Authoritarianism 101. Then silencing dissent (happening now), disarming the populace, and soon enough we'll be North Korea or 1933 Germany

Video: The Story of Everesting in Skate Shoes, a T-Shirt & Baggy Pants in 'Another Lap. Every Lap.'
I think he means “no carbon superbike” as in it’s not a 19lb xc machine like most everests are done on. And most everests aren’t done on black diamond pirate trails
