Sklar Bikes 2026 Tall Tale Hardtail Updated
Doesn't quite work on his hardtail but sklar's curved top tube looks gorgeous on the rest of his frames. It's a signature he can't drop anymore

Sklar Bikes 2026 Tall Tale Hardtail Updated
I've seen exactly one video of a hydro puncture from rock strike. It was on a full sus cooking on a dh track so I'd wager hardtail speeds won't get you damage like that. Tires suited for a 140mm hardtail won't grab and throw rocks large enough either. I'd imagine the danger of kinking or otherwise messing up housing/hydro is higher on full susses with really tight brake and shift routing in the rear triangle. I really prefer an external route with slack when stuff is pivoting and stretching.

A Closer Look at Faction's 32" Prototype XC Bike
@ReformedRoadie: unicyclist checking in: still got seatpost left before my 36" eats up my inseam completely on 125mm cranks. Waiting for 40" to come into production (never, with respect to tires) for better speed, even lower torque, and finally being able to roll up kerbs without even noticing.
