Winter Trail Building

Just chatting about building, riding, the rain, music etcHI!
i joined Pinkbike about 2-3 years ago but have'nt used it until now lol.

Anyway yeah as you can see from the photos i'm building some trails in ....... Yeah thats right i'm not telling Big Grin basically all the trails around where i live get ruined f*cking quickly so i really can't be bothered to post them on here. This means that atm i'm actually digging on my own! This is shit tbh mainly because it's ging to take ages, i've obviously got friends they just don't want to help i guess. they won't be riding!
The trails consist of Clay generally, it kind of turns to really loose soil when you start digging it but as soon as you pack it down it gets mentallll. I guess i'm writing this because although i ride dirt i've never had to completely build a set of trails, i have millions of ideas but no idea how to get it all started!?
my main ideas are that i want a super smooth TRICKED line.
Eventually i want to make a jump box, in a bowl or something, theres more than enough space so i don't see why not!
If eventually enough people decide to start helping then i want a pump track there as well, i don't want kids to turn up, look at the main set then just turn back around.

for some reason i want to appeal to everybody, i have no problem with any kind of riding so i just want it to become one of those fabled spots. I have the motivation hence i'm digging on my own.
Also at the minute it's chucking it down outside thats why i decided to sit on here for a bit, but i'm going out digging for a bit soon, rain or shine i don't care.
I'd also like to say that i would like YOU to come & visit, this depends obviously on you haha if you want to know more about these trails then i actually work in Birmingham, The Specialized Concept Store in Fort Dunlop Building.
Yes that is Specialized Bikes & i ride a DMR hahahaha!

Anyway yeah i have zillions of ideas & now manpower to pull them all off but f*ck it i'm going at it like a pack of wolves because i can, i will & i love riding.
