We Are One Carbon 27.5 mtb Wheelset. DT Swiss 240s

$700 GBP
We Are One Carbon 27.5 mtb Wheelset. DT Swiss 240s Union/Convert DT Swiss 240s hubs (rear free hub is for SRAM cassette.) We are One carbon rims. These are the original tyres so you can see how little use the wheelset has had from the tread Straight, true, a very few minor scrapes to the carbon but in great condition. Supplies with Maxxis tyres as shown with loads of tread life left in them. I'm pretty certain these are 35mm internal (consistent with the 43mm external width) but they're stickered as Union (whereas the We are One 35mm wheelset is the Convert. I don't know why that is! The hubs alone retail for £450 The rims are c£500 each

but your shins and calfs stay in much better condition pushing a bike with SPDs than with pinned flats....

opposite for me. 5:10s on good flats have less float than a set of SPDs - my knees need a bit of movement through the stroke.

Review: Six Months on Structure's Wild Looking Cycleworks SCW 1
@excavator666: I'd second all that. I've put many 1000's of miles on Pinion and even more on Rohloff (and on Alfine). It's a different technique to conventional but the easing off of pressure only needs to be momentary and I didn't lose momentum as a result - hell, I could track stand on a steep and drop a few gears when I needed to. Try doing that with conventional mech. One of the times I miss my Pinion most is technical climbing.... They do have issues - weight, pickup, Q factor, fitting the suspension around it being some - and electronic shifting is an obvious development (available now for Rohloff https://www.rohloff.de/en/service/handbook/e-14).
