I appreciate Ben's perspective but I think the current format is better. The Q1-Q2 format is exciting because there are actual consequences for not performing well. I feel having any sort of protection even if not for the full season takes away from that. I get wanting to see your "heroes" in finals but I would argue that there are so many amazing racers and personalities in the sport and the top dogs not getting trough once in a while allows those other personalities to shine through. Also, it makes it much more meaningful when your favorite rider does actually make it. WB not covering quallis is a huge miss. It doesent need to be live. Some highlights would be amazing.

@Intothewhite: It was easy enough. Just waited till they reacted to a split then paused the live feed for a few seconds to match. The WB commentary was a bit better this round but nowhere near as good as Rob's watch along.

Honestly, this was sooo good! I turned off the WB commentary and synced to the watch along and it was the most enjoyable watch in years. I hope they keep doing this for the rest of the races.
