Marin Wolf Ridge Pro Custom Build (Medium)

$1799 USD
Looking for a nice spec carbon enduro bike for beginner alloy money? This could be for you, your kid, or maybe a spare bike when buddies come to visit you! Buy on our shop’s site here and we’ll get it boxed up and shipped out to you https://bikingroots.com/products/marin-wolf-ridge-pro-custom-build-medium Selling my custom built Marin Wolf Ridge Enduro Bike. I built it up a year ago here at the bike shop I own and it has been a lot of fun and this was the 2nd Wolf Ridge I’ve owned over the years. Super smooth over the rough stuff but also not a bad climber when you have to go back up thanks to the suspension design. Yes, you will be asked over and over if it is an e-bike, but other than that, the design works well and is a lot of fun. This build is a mix of a lot of different parts as I’ve taken off some of the parts recently to use on other builds. I am selling it as follows: Frame: Full Carbon 160mm travel. Frame model year is 2018 but was sitting in Marin inventory until I bought it around Feb of 2023. (Marin made the Wolf Ridge from 2018-2020). Condition: Very little wear. A little paint chip under shock (pictured) when we were removing shock for warranty. Top tube a little mark from something. Other than that, very little wear and in great condition, still looks new like it did a year ago Full Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Frame, Naild R3ACT – 2 Play Suspension Technology, 160mm Travel, 148mm Boost Rear Spacing, Naild 12-3-9 Locking Quick Release Thru-Axle Suspension: Fork: Marzocchi Bomber Z1 160mm Grip Damper (Fox 36 Rythm). Fork is a couple years old but in March of 2023 when I built it up it got a new air spring, and lower leg service (seals, dust wipers, and oil). Maybe has 20 hours on it since then (all here in Houston) since I ride other bikes from the shop. Slight scuff on stanchion but doesn’t affect performance (pictured). Legs have some marks (pictured) Shock: Fox Float X2 Factory. High and low speed compression adjustment. First week or 2 after building it up, shock went out due to Fox defect (known issue). Fox rebuilt it under warranty and has worked awesome ever since. Maybe 20 hours on it (like fork). Wheelset: Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro Alloy. Boost. 110 front, 148 Rear, 6 bolt, XD Driver. Only a couple months old. Had them in inventory but through them on when I busted a spoke on my carbon wheels and had to send them off. Have used these on other builds and work well especially for the price. Tires: These were thrown on a couple months ago with the wheelset because I had planned on switching to something else and for Houston, they are light and fast. Front: Continental Trail King 29x2.2, Rear: Continental Cross King: 29x2.3. Fast, but if you need more traction obviously you can switch them out Brakes: SRAM Guide T 4-piston. Reliable, effective, and inexpensive SRAM 4 piston stoppers. Had them in inventory when I initially did the build so through them on. Work as they should. Centerline 200mm rotor up front, 180mm in rear. (1 year old) Drivetrain: Crankset: SRAM GX Boost crankset 170mm (has a tad heavier steel ring since I had to rob the alloy for another project). Cassette: e*thirteen TRS 9-46T XD (year old). Only weighs like 330g which is why I picked it (and you can replace the lower cogs if you wear them out which is cool). Chain: SRAM XX1 (few months old). Derailleur and Shifter: SRAM GX (year old or so). Cockpit: Handlebars: Chromag Fubar 35 rise, 35mm clamps, 780mm length. Stem: Raceface Aeffect 35mm 40mm length. ODI Elite Pro grips. Generic Dropper lever. Dropper: Crankbrothers Highline 3 125mm (30.9) Saddle: WTB Speed cro-mo gel saddle (pretty comfy) Sold AS-IS, no warranty, no returns, Buyer Pays $190 insured UPS Shipping (Lower 48 only) https://bikingroots.com/products/marin-wolf-ridge-pro-custom-build-medium

Cannondale Trigger Carbon 2

$899 USD
Selling this for my brother in law who has owned it since 2017. Full disclosure, He developed a crack in the right chain stay a while back in an apparently common area for this model and it was repaired by a carbon repair place in Austin/San Antonio area, c6 Carbon Fiber repair. Check them out on facebook, they do some incredible work! https://www.facebook.com/people/C6-Carbon-Fiber-Repair/100063580749061/ Later on another crack formed on the right seat stay which was also repaired (by our shop that time). Then recently another crack near the original crack on the right chain stay was found and repaired by C6 in Austin/San Antonio again. See pics. Hopefully that area is now much stronger than before and will not have any future issues but cannot guarantee it. My brother in law loves to jump and rides hard so potentially with a less aggressive rider, it could be problem free. It does have some creaks when pedaling which is common with carbon fiber bikes of this era with press fit bottom brackets. It could be a great bike for a beginner, kid, or for someone looking for backup bike. The Fox shock was just serviced by Fox a year or so ago with very little use since. It has a lockout system that goes from 140mm of travel to 85mm of travel with the flick of a switch on the bars which helps with climbing. Brand new this was a $6100 bike back in 2015. The original owner upgraded the wheels to the top of the line Team version Crossmax SLR wheelset (lighter) for $1k. The whole bike only weighs 27.7 lbs w/ pedals! Impressive for a 140mm trail bike w/ a dropper these days. If you want to read a review on it that singletracks did https://www.singletracks.com/mtb-gear/long-term-review-2015-cannondale-trigger-carbon-2-27-5/ Buy on our website below. $199 for shipping lower 48. As is, no warranty, no returns https://bikingroots.com/products/2015-cannondale-trigger-carbon-2 Specs are as follows: Frame: Large Ballistic Carbon Hi-Mod frame (full carbon, no alloy). *has been repaired 2x*. If it cracks again, I’d just have someone who does carbon repair fix it again (that is a big positive w/ carbon) Fork: Supermax Carbon 2.0 140mm travel (weighs only like 1800g) Shock: Fox Dyad RT2 (recently serviced) Wheelset: Mavic Crossmax SLR. Continental Trail king tires (setup tubeless) Drivetrain: 10 speed cassette, Carbon crankset (was a 2x now a 1x), xt shifter and derailleur Brakes: Shimano XT (2 piston). 180/160 Icetech rotors Cockpit: Carbon Cannondale bars, KS Lev dropper Shipping $199 lower 48, no warranty, no returns, as-is https://bikingroots.com/products/2015-cannondale-trigger-carbon-2

$2299 USD
We are selling this hardly used San Quentin 3 for a customer on consignment. The San Quentin 3 has been very tough to get since it was released a while back. Now you can get one with tons of upgrades for almost the cost of a new one! This was the 1st one we sold and the customer immediately modified it and put just under 3K in upgrades! Shaved off just over 3lb off of the bike. Sales are final *no returns*, shipping is $199 insured to lower 48 You can buy online via our website with a variety of CC options (*price not valid with shop pay installments however* contact us for price if doing installments) https://bikingroots.com/products/2023-marin-san-quentin-3-demo-modified Upgrades include the following: - Industry Nine Enduro S Wheelset with Hydra hubs (Microspline driver) $1k - Continental Trail King setup tubeless (faster rolling than the Assegais it comes with) $160 - Shimano SLX 10-51T cassette $105 - Raceface Next R Carbon Cranks with Race Face Cinch chainring and bottom bracket $500 - Shimano Saint 4-piston brakes w/ XT rotors. $593 - Renthal carbon bars and stem $200 (bars have been cut dow to probably like 720-740) - PNW loam lever and dropper $290 - Ergon Saddle $70 The San Quentin 3 is the top dog in the SQ family. We’ve worked tirelessly to create the very best-specced San Quentin ever but still kept the price tag down to earth and in reach of everyone. Marzocchi Z2 fork? Check. Shimano 4-piston brakes and 12-speed drivetrain? X-Fusion dropper post? You got it. FSA cranks, Vee Tire rubber and plenty of kick-ass Marin kit? Abso-freakin-lutely. Dirt Jump Inspired Frame Style Taking cues from the Alcatraz, the San Quentin line up provides all the benefits of the DJ style with massive standover, slick frame tubes, and a sexy paint job. Modern Trail Geometry The slack head tube angle paired with a steep seat tube angle create a ride that will fly uphill with perfect front wheel precision but then descend like it's on rails. The balanced rider position thanks to the steep seat tube puts your weight between the wheels for impressive climbing and handling on flats, while the slack front end and short rear center help to pull you through the rough descents and corners with an intuitive feel. ISCG Tabs The San Quentin 2 and 3 models feature ISCG 05 tabs for easy chain retention device installation for rowdier riders.
