Video: Top 3 Runs from the Crankworx Rotorua Slopestyle 2021
On top of it being like doing something with your opposite hand, a large part of why opposite is harder is because of how our feet are positioned front/back. It is easier to spin into your rear foot (regular) because you can twist your body/hips that direction far easier and use your feet to twist the bike into the rotation. Spinning into your front foot (opposite) is harder because you are rotating against these factors. As for a tailwhip, you kick the back of the bike to start the rotation. The further back your foot is, the more leverage you have, the more spin you get. Regular is to kick with your back foot. Opposite you have to remove your front foot, move it as far back as you can and kick the bike. Emil's tricks were already incredibly technical done regular, he did them oppo

Opinion: Freeride is Dead, Long Live Freeride
Did you really just claim that Semenuk is not an artist on a bike, and rather a technician? Have you seen him ride and what he creates? Do you understand so little about the sport?

7 Short Travel Bikes from Crankworx BC Dual Slalom
@MattP76: "Here we go again.......Comparing bicycles to a motor bike, a plane, a space ship, a missile, a formula 1 car, a canoe, etc etc. Anything you want to justify the argument." So you feel that bicycle design and innovation should take place in a vacuum? With no inspiration, ideas, or technology taken from other areas and fields? Looks like we need to go back to the very first bicycle and start over again.

If someone wants to ride a mullet setup what harm is there in it? Why do you care so much? You don't need to run that setup if you don't want to, and someone else who is running it does not need to justify it to you. By the way, 26"/24" mullet was a thing back in the day, and offroad motorcycles use different diameter wheels front and rear too. Lastly, just because something "has always been done this way" is not a reason to halt innovation.
